If this is the Dr. Sohn in the insurance mill he was used by the insurance industry. the ratings I give you if this is not you than I apologize. I was given an appointment to see an IME (insurance Medical Examiner) not ta his location but in an old office building in the basement in East Meadow, NY. The place was crowded with unsanitary. When I did not want to fill out paperwork he refused to see me. I than only filled out the basics such as; my name and address and date of accident. He escorted me in the small office and told me to lie down on a dirty unsanitary examining table. When I told him I was uncomfortable doing so he screamed at me and ask why? I than told him why and offered to do it standing up and he refused. He kicked me out of his office and told me to come back in a few weeks. My attorney and IME monitor documented this. I can understand that some of these physicians need the extra money when they are retired to take extra income to honestly determine if a person/s medical treatment should continue. This is very tempting and many that take on the industry for extra income do not realize that they also can commit insurance fraud by signing off that treatments are no longer medically necessary when they are. Instead of going after and prosecuting these IME specialist they end up in arbitration in the end. These IME specialist should at least have their licenses suspended or revoked. Again if this is not the same Dr. Sohn many apologies for ruining the wrong person.
