Dr. Pilot is the best doctor ever. He delivered all four of my lovely kids and I had one natural and the other three c-section and he did an amazing job and you can't even barely even see the line scar where the c-section was performed 3 x . I love him and his amazing nurse Anna. I recommended him to lots of my friends.

I absolutely love Dr. Polon!! He has Obgyn during all 3 of my pregnancies. My first baby was a high risk pregnancy, so I had to see him a lot more than average and every time he was so nice and explained everything. On my last delivery, he was suppose to have the day off and stayed at least 4 more hours so he would deliver my son. He has a British accent and is just the sweetest ever!

I love doctor Polon. He has delivered all three of my children and will at some point deliver number four. In our decade long relationship I have never felt more at ease with a ob/gyn. My last pregnancy had me at the hospital at 26 weeks. Dr Polon himself called Mr after I called the office. He then called the hospital and told them I was on my way. At 33 weeks I had to be put on bedrest. Dr Polon explained everything and made me very at ease. I love Anna too shes been around a long time. Its nice having familiar faces everytime you go.

I am very saddened to write a poor review for Dr.Polon especially after hearing so many great things about him from friends, but felt it necessary. I was less than pleased with his knowledge and staff.I find that it is often very difficult to actually get a hold of him or his staff due to extended lunch breaks and over scheduling. I started going to Dr.Polon when we were 7wks with our first. My first visit was great, no questions no concerns. Since then I have been in the hospital 4 separate times for pregnancy related issues. First, I started bleeding at 14wks with tissue loss and cramping. I call his office to come in, I'm in tears, they tell me not to worry about it, it's normal and WON'T schedule another appointment for me for another MONTH! Next time, I am bleeding AT my appointment, he won't check me. The bleeding was from infections that he neglected to resolve. For a high risk specialist I was very disappointed. I hope others experiences are better. It's off to a new OB for me.

I LOVE Dr. Polon and his staff. He is an amazing physician with an incredibly knowledge base and extremely personal bedside manner. He is a wonderful physician that followed me through my twin pregnancy. When the time came for an emergency c-section because I started to develop HELP syndrome I was completely prepared for it and wasn't scared because Dr. Polon had explained to me along the way of al the possible scenerious. I think he is the best OBGYN I have ever been to and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND him and would not go to anyone else. He is so passionate about his patients and dedicated to them, which is hard to find anymore. Also the bonus is he is extremely competent in high risk cases and has an excellent rating with the perinatalogist within the Austin area. My peri said that his is one of the only MD they feel comfortable with following twin pregnancies! I can't recommend him enough!!!! HE is the BEST!

Dr. Polon and his staff are what you hope to find in a physician's office but rarely do. Dr. Polon is a dedicated and knowledgeable doctor. He is confident in his recommendations but very open to collaborating with patients. I was expecting twins and had a few unusual complications during my pregnancy. Dr. Polon feels comfortable collaborating with other specialists but takes on a lot of the care that most OBGYNs farm out to others. He is supported by an amazing nurse, Anna, who is nearly always available when you call. In the past I've often waited hours if not days to have an OBGYN's office return my call. But when you call his office you are greeted by a person not a recording and that sets the tone for how you are treated -- like an individual. My delivery went smoothly and I recovered amazingly well. Not only is the scar very unnoticeable but there is no residual pain or discomfort as is often the case. I highly recommend Dr. Polon.

Dr. Polon was the backup for my midwife with my first and ended up delivering my baby due to complications. He was awesome. During Week 11 I started bleeding and my MW sent me to him for an U/S and he was very thorough and helpful, and really put me & my husband at ease. We continued to see our MW, but ended up at the hospital when I was 33 weeks b/c I was leaking amniotic fluid. Dr. Polon fought the hospital to keep me there and NOT induce until I was ready. We delivered a healthy boy, induced but no c-section, no episiotomy. Instead of going back to my MW with my 2nd, I went straight to him. Perfect, fast, totally natural labor, baby healthy. My placenta stayed put, though, and I had to be put under in order to remove it. Doc P was able to remove it without any instruments, so I didn't scar and had no stitches. He is EXTREMELY knowledgeable, and doesn't really dig invasive or unnecessary procedures. Don't be put off because he calls you "sweetie."

Dr Polon was WONDERFUL when I had a miscarriage, even though he wasn't my regular doctor. He got me in right away to St David's for a D&C, and was very caring and helpful. His front desk staff, on the other hand, were VERY rude and unhelpful, and made me cry while we were waiting to see him the first time. (We knew our baby had died at 9 weeks, and were there specifically to see him about a D&C, since the miscarriage wasn't starting on its own, and they knew it)

He is wonderful. He cared as much about our pregnancy as we did. He addressed every problem with love and respect and was always willing to discuss our options with us as well as offer support with feeling. I think he is wonderful and never want to have to see another OBGYN as long as I live.
