I've seen Dr. Shimazu twice in the last 5 yrs for root canals and consultation for which my dentist felt I needed a specialist. I've heard horror stories since I was a child about people having root canals. I experience "no pain" in either of my root canals. Dr. Shimazu is very patient, professional, knowledgeable and a wonderful doctor. He's staff is great also. Hopefully, I'll never need another root canal, but won't hesitate to see him again if I do.
