Great bedside manner, uses a practical approach. He invited my nurse practioner son to sit in on the heart cath procedure.

I’ve worked with Dr Khodakov for multiple visits. His bedside manner is engaging, I find him technically competent, and I feel like my concerns are addressed by the end of each visit. His support staff is just as good, prompt, personable, and accurate. Having a heart issue isn’t ideal, but having a team like this supporting me helps a lot.

Bedside manner... Not great. He didn't want to hear our concerns, let alone answer any questions. Wouldn't even address me, except to inform me that its for "him (my husband) to worry about." He took a non-emergent, personal phone call in the middle of our emergent surgery consultation. Put my husband on unnecessary medication that could have harmed him with prolong use. Thank goodness we went for a second opinion after surgery. You may be forced to see him if he is on call for the hospital you are at, but you don't have to followup with him. Save yourself time, money, and stress. Go see someone else.
