Dr. Shah is one of the best doctors I have ever had. I have been going to him for eyesight-saving treatments every month for more than four years. He is warm, kind, a consummate professional, who always takes time to explain and update me on all testing and procedures. I trust him completely, and enjoy every visit. You wouldbe so lucky to have him as your doctor.

I was referred to Dr. Shah by my optometrist after experiencing some loss of peripheral vision. Dr. Shah diagnosed me with detached retinas in both eyes (in various stages), and if I didn't get surgery in the very near future to repair this condition, I risked losing my vision completely. It was a terrifying diagnosis, but Dr. Shah and his office alleviated my stress by patiently answering all of my post-appointment emails and calls to ensure I fully understood the diagnosis and surgery process. I went through with the surgeries approximately 1 month apart, to allow the first eye to heal and vision to restore before proceeding with the second. Both of my surgeries were a success and Dr. Shah was able to restore full peripheral vision in both eyes! I feel very fortunate that I was referred to Dr. Shah. He is not only a great surgeon, but has a wonderfully kind manner that is hard to find. If anyone has to go through something like this, there is no one I could recommend more highly.

I was referred to Dr. Shah after my initial cataract surgery this summer. The cataract surgery was a success, but due to underlying conditions, the lens was unable to be implanted and I had no vision in that eye. Dr. Shah was able to implant the lens and now I have great vision in that eye. Dr. Shah is a top notch retina surgeon and he has my highest recommendation.

I was referred to Dr Shah by Dr. Trexler Topping upon his retirement, that was indication enough for me that my eye care was in the best hands possible.
I have complete confidence in Dr. Shah. To begin with, he is such a good man, patient, calm and peaceful, caring and concerned for his patients.
Not to mention the incredible amount of dedication he has invested in the bouquet of accomplishments preparing for how he interacts with his patients, surgically and personally. Absolutely unequalled!
During my Post Op and annual visits with Dr. Shah, he explains results with clarity and reassurance.
I couldn’t be more pleased with the care I receive from Dr. Shah.
I highly recommend Dr. Shah for your care as well as Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston globally. The staff and practitioners are absolutely the best at what they do.

Dr. Shah performed my detached retina repair surgery in October 2019 and I have been in his care since then. I recently visited him for a follow up appointment. I am extremely pleased with his level of expertise. He took time in advance of the procedure to explain precisely what to expect and kept me informed during the surgery. During my multiple visits post surgery, he always patiently makes time to answer my questions and discuss my progress. It is evident that Dr. Shah takes great pride in his work and genuinely cares for the wellbeing of his patients.

Dr Shah has been my Ophthalmologist for the past 5 years. He is extremely thorough explaining my eye condition and educating me on what tests may be needed, what this all means and how to take better care of my eye health. I have always been treated with utmost care and consideration when addressing my concerns. He has always put me at ease and I leave feeling that I am with no doubt in good hands under his care.
