Dr. Letson and his staff went above and beyond to take care of my mother when she arrived in town with a 70 pound weight loss, severe pain and little hope. HIs bedside manner made us feel like family and his professionalism & quickness with referrals needed were completed with ease. We will be forever thankful for Dr. Letson and his team as my mother continues to maintain her weight, have less pain and face each day with hope and encouragement!

In reference to the comment stating Dr Letson was rude and arrogant. Most of his patients are elderly and have numerous, complicated issues. He listens to and addresses each and every issue even if it is not urologically related. He has literally saved numerous lives just by paying attention to things other physicians have either missed or not addressed. I was present during the appointment of the complaining family member. Dr Letson had seen 2 patients prior to going into her father's room that were very ill, one with metastatic cancer. These patients and their family needed his time so they could understand the poor prognosis of their loved one which is what they received. When he walked into the room of the writer's father, he was approached very aggressively by the patient's daughter. Her poor father sat there quietly, not complaining, while she acted in a very disrespectful manner. Yes, Dr Letson left the room to regroup. After previously spending time with a room full of emotional people discussing their loved ones horrible near future and then getting verbally slammed by not the patient but by the family member that was inconvenienced by wasting her time waiting to be seen, he had to reprocess the situation. When he walked back into the room, the mood was still aggressive. He could not treat the patient with the daughter speaking to him so sternly. It was in the best interest of the patient to end the visit. The purpose of my writing this is to remind people that they do not know what the doctor was involved in while in the next room. Those people needed him. He also would have given the amount of time to the writer's father that was needed to direct all their concerns. Bottom line, schedule your doctor appointments when you are not pressed for time especially if your doctor is also a surgeon. One day you may need the doctor's time excessively so you can understand your or your loved ones medical needs.

Doctor is rude and arrogant. Two hours of time wasted for less than 15 minutes with doctor. When I asked when doctor would give us diagnosis so we could leave the doctor came back into exam room and said he would not treat my 88 year old father because I complained about wait time.

He was very helpful and understanding. He was determined to make the correct diagnosis and took time to rule out other possibilities. He took time to speak with me, not even my family doctor took as much time with me. He should have gone with a sub-specialty of family practice. I feel very comfortable in his care. On top of all that, his staff is fantastic and most of them have been with him 10+ years. That should tell you something.
