I don't know if the problems we as a family have had with Dr. Jett is the result of inefficiencies at Baptist Medical or a lack of concern for her patients by Dr. Jett. It appears the Dr. ignores repeated requests to talk to her or else the nurses aren't relaying these requests and questions we ask, or they are instructed not to let patients request to talk to the doctor, I can't say which. I say the latter because in asking the doctor to answer questions the typical response isn't "I'll have the doctor call you" but "Do you want me to get you an answer for that question" even though I have already explained I've asked for an answer three times with no result. But no matter whose to blame this practice is unacceptable to my family. From 2 hour wait times to test results out of the normal range that do not get addressed by the Dr. at the time and when the Doctor makes a prescription based on the test results no one replies to our repeated questions about the prescription which the pharmacist suggests the doctor should be consulted about before taking. The common reply we get to requests to talk to the Doctor is she has been off today or she will be out for several weeks. I suspect Baptist medical itself could be the problem allowing doctors more patients than they can handle. Our previous doctor there was Dr. Roberts who left Baptist Medical. Neither she nor Baptist Medical would give us a reason why she was leaving and before she left, for a month, we were told a prescription Dr. Robert's office said was called into our pharmacy 5 times (the pharmacy claimed they never received them even though they called the doctor's office for them) was not delivered because it had to go through Dr. Jett's office since Dr. Roberts was leaving and Dr. Jett's office was the problem.

Called, put on hold for 35 minutes; hung up, called again. Lady answered and i was immediately put on hold again, did not even get to say hi. Good thing I have unlimited minutes or I would be sending you a bill. RIDICULOUS . Just said forget it, I will do something else.
