I had to visit the dentist because I had a consistent pain for a week. I thought I must have an infection because it was making me nauseous. Dr. Hines was the closest dentist to me in my network. I called to make a appointment on Thur. they couldn't see me until Mon. I arrived on time my face was very swollen and I was in a lot of pain. As soon as I got there one patient that was leaving and there was no one else there but me. After waiting 30 min. I asked how much longer. The answer was not much longer. I could see the doors open to the exam rooms and there was no noise going on that would indicate work was going on. I could see the Dr. standing around talking to the girls in a very hateful way. After an hour wait the Dr. saw me. As I walked back in to the exam room I was correct there were no other patients there just me and I still had to wait an hour with a swollen face and in pain. He's assistant was extremely nice and helpful he on the other hand was not. He sent me to another Dr. saying he didn't know what the problem was. He was rude and didn't listen well at all. I was told by the other Dr. he was sending me to they couldn't see me until the next week and that it sounded like I had an infection and needed antibiotics right away. At which point I was told by the Latino Receptionist " He's NOT going to give antibiotics. Your not EVEN his patient" As she rolled her eyes. I had transferred all my records there and chose them off a list to be my primary dentist. Because my dentist had stopped carrying my insurance and you just have to pick off a list and go. I told her this was going to be my dentist but she was right I would not be returning. The other receptionist over hearing all this went and spoke with the Dr. and came back out with a prescription for me. I was very grateful to her. This was by FAR the worst experience I have ever had at a dentist.
