What happened to this Dr.'s great bedside manor and understanding of patient's concerns?? Afterall, these doctors tell us to take care of ourselves and be in control of our bodies but as soon as you ask questions or you have a concern, they become agitated, rude, and dismissive. I first saw Dr. Szeto in 2006/2007. At that time, she was attentive, understanding, and thorough. Fast forward to 2009-2011 things seemed to be status quo but I noticed she was short with me and really made me feel stupid about asking questions some of which I knew the answers but she did not. Fast forward to 2017 to the present, wow she had gone from a truly genuine and concerned doctor to making you feel like a number. Her receptionist Adelyn is rude, entitled, and has a chip on her shoulders. She likes to hear herself talk but she does not want you to talk. I would highly recommend doing your own research but after a decade of seeing Dr. Szeto for various things I would go to another doctor that is eager to please and passionate about doctor/patient care NOT doctor/doctor care. Moving on...

Although I had an appointment I waited for 45 minutes to see Dr Szeto. Receptionist is very rude. I requested a specific time on any day I had time to wait for an opening no rush. When she gave me a time totally opposite she then became very rude when I once again explained why that what I needed was what I request. Very Rude. Following this incident Dr Szeto has refused
My badly needed medications. I thought Dr.’s took an oath. I now have a physician who cares and have pleasant staff.

I've been going to Dr. Szeto for years, and when my 2 daughters came along, they went to her too. We LOVE Dr. Szeto! She always remembers details about whatever issues we have and she takes her time with us at our appointments. I couldn't ask for a better doctor!

Been a patient of hers for years but Dr.Szeto has become more inattentive, abrupt, and impatient during my appointments. What a coincidence that another patient review also mentioned Dr. Szeto's irritability when asked about using vitamin supplements. She can also make you feel stupid if you ask about worrisome symptoms - THAT'S THE WHOLE POINT OF THE APPOINTMENT! As a result, I am looking for a new doctor.

My husband and I have been going to Dr Szeto for a few years now. She is caring and truly is our family Dr. Her nurse Carey is really nice too. My only concern is that now I'm 2 months pregnant and will have to find a GYN since she does not deliver.

I love dr.szeto. I have been looking for a good dr for years. I'm so happy that my mom recommended her, as she's been a patient for some time. Dr. Szeto is so caring, knowledgable and takes her time. I had a miscarriage earlier this year and she made sure to call me regularly through the day it happened and sqeezed me in to her packed schedule the next day. She even called me as soon as the blood work came back and following up the next morning. Her staff is among too! I will go to Dr. Szeto as long as I live in LA. She's awesome!

When I complained about pain in my hands and that my grandmother had Rhumatoid Arthritis, her response was "You probably have Arthritis." There ARE tests for this, but no mention of testing from her. If positive, it's suppose to be treated to prevent further damage! When asking about taking vitamins/supplements, she was obviously annoyed when I asked for specifics for the dosages. At my last visit, I was concerned with my symptoms and asked a lot of questions. Her response was if my symtoms persisted, she could prescribe an ANTI-ANXIETY. That wasn't my medical issue. No mention of any further tests, just chalked it up to anxiety. She clearly wrote off my symptoms as being due to anxiety because I was very concerned and asked lots of questions. Please! That really turned me off and I haven't been back since. Expect a good hour wait, even with an appt. Their pharmacy never calls you back, even if your request is urgent! (And they rarely answer that line as well.) Find another dr

I've always had a pleasant experience with her, and would recommend her. She has always been willing to sit with me as long as it takes to answer ALL my questions. She also never makes me feel stupid for answering ANY questions. I can appreciate that in her. I hate when I (common folk) ask a Dr. (board cert. PhD) any question that yes may seem a lil silly, but none the less a question, and i receive a "are your realy asking me this you stupid idiot" type stare. it's happened in the past, and I love that dr. szeto is nice enough to always understand I'M NOT A DOCTOR, and she's there to not only treat, but inform.

I moved from Burbank to Santa Clarita and will not bother changing doctors! She is professional and personable. I take my kids to her and finally got my husband to switch over and we are all very happy with her service!
