Dr. Mallico performed a partial sigmoid resection on me in April, 2010, after determining that I had blockage from scar tissue caused by repeated bouts of diverticulitis. The surgery went well, although more complicated than originally thought since I also had issues with my small intestine, which he also corrected. What impressed me most with Dr. Mallico was his attentiveness to his patients and his dedication to his career. His upbeat attitude is a breath of fresh air and makes office visits more pleasant than I was used to. I would certainly send anyone I know to him with full confidence that they would be treated as well as I was. If only ALL doctors were this wonderful!
