Dr Pao is nice, but her office staff is very rude, money-driven, unreasonable, and not responsible. I feel sorry for her because she looses patients like me because of her office staff. This is my second year to see Dr Pao. Since I have an appointment with a specialist at the next day of my appoinment with Dr. Pao, I told her this appointment when Dr. Pao asked me what's going on. She documented it, which charged me $15 extra because it's not "preventive". I didn't mean to bring this issue to Dr Pao and ask for help. I have seen this specialist much longer than her, and she didn't do anything extra. She even didn't feel anything on my breast. $15 is not a big issue, but makes me very uncomfortble. When I called her office and discussed about the billing question, they are so rude, and said that no matter what happened, Dr. Pao documented it so I have to pay the charge. I said that I can pay the bill but I felt uncomfortble and not sure what I should say when Dr Pao ask me questions like this, and it may be my last time to see Dr Pao. They just said "Ok thank you". They don't care about the patients' feeling, they don't care if they will lose patients, they just care about that $15. I'll pay what ever I should pay, and I'd like to discuss with them about my questions, but their attitude made me very angry. I can't find a way to work with them. By the way, they don't mail the detailed blood work result. Bye Dr. Pao. If you don't want to be in the situation like me -- keep silent when you see Dr Pao to aviod suprise charges -- don't go to her office.
