Biography

After practicing medicine in Winnfield, Louisiana for 35 years, I moved to Shreveport to be close to my children and grandchildren. I completed medical school at Guntur Medical College in India and then moved to Philadelphia, Penn., where I completed my internship at St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital. I served a pediatric residency at Harlem Hospital/Columbia University and New York Infirmary/New York University followed by a one-year pediatric ambulatory care fellowship at Harlem Hospital/Columbia University. I then decided to move to the South to raise my family, settling in Winnfield, where I began a private solo practice that later evolved into a family practice. I have two children, Anil and Anuja, and 3 grandchildren, Keerthan, Ayan, and Ana. I enjoy gardening, watching movies, exercising, and spending time with family
