Don't expect warm and fuzzy but his hip surgery was top notch. At a very healthy 70 years, I have had no issues whatsoever. Everything the staff did in pre-op coaching was first-rate. During the two days in the hospital, including the delicious meatloaf and mashed potatoes, I was well-cared for (save one administered overdose of a painkiller where wife had to scream for nurses who responded quickly). That wasn't Meigal, however. His skills are the best. The hip is as good even doing advanced yoga stretches and the frog kick while swimming, which I thought I'd never get back. .

Dr. Miegel is the BEST...Hip Replacement at 56! Never had surgery nor hospitalized. Up and about the same day, and never looked back!! Easy Surgery and Reovery!

The doc put my knee back together thirteen years ago. It was shattered in an accident, knee replacement was not a viable option. He used screws cancellos bone and a steel rod to put it all together. I still do my walk for hunger walks every year 20 miles in Boston and it still going strong. If you are lucky enough to get this doctor for knee surgery you will be in excellent hands. mitchek@hotmail.com

not a very knowledeable dr.when it comes to o.s.a had sore throat for weeks.also had to reschedule surgery because he was unprepared for this specific situation.

he did both my hips. fantastic dr. amongst the best. has humor too.

Dr. Miegel did my knee surgury--removed a floating piece of bone and trimmed miniscus. Walking in 2 days, jogging in 1 month. 57 years old. And he listens as well as informs.
