I’m a 78 year male. Dr. Baird replaced my right hip in November of 2019, it’s now May of 2020. I think he did a very good job. He’s pleasant, informative and easy to understand. He’s to the point, not big on casual chatting. He also does knees so I’ll most likely be under his care again. I would Suggest a patient have a list of questions and/or concerns for the visit, as with all Dr.s now, he doesn’t have time to bond - insurance doesn’t allow for that.

Dr. Baird and his office staff were charging me more than Medicare approved, and attempted to extract more money from me. I refused to pay the "balance" they insisted I owed. Dr. Baird told me they would bill me, and if I didn't pay, they would send to collections. I knew I did not owe this "balance" and said " go ahead and do that ". This was several months ago, still haven't received a bill. I plan to contact Medicare and my medigap provider, Aetna if they do decide to pursue. Dr. Baird is condescending and arrogant, and now unprofessional, would always undermine my symptoms, never ordered any tests other than X-Ray, when all my symptoms indicated a labral tear in my hip.
