He totally botched my lumbar fushion by putting anchoring a metal pin on the right side of my spine breaking tell bone and driving it into the nerve. It was excruciating immediately following surgery. He must have Sen what he was doing. He had told me I might have a 50% pain reduction. I have osteoarthritis in my lumbar spine and degenerative disc disease. I ended up with a 150% in pain and another Neurosurgeon operated last to clean up the mess. The burning pain from the nerve being impinge by the metal pin.
It's been 6 months of hell

He is amazing, possibly the best surgeon in the world! He saved my husbands life, he has amazing bedside manner. He explained everything clearly and in terms that I understood. At a office appointment, he even talked to my 5 year old daughter and answered her questions regarding surgery and what he did to her daddy. When we were leaving, he even held her hand! You will never find a Doctor that really cares about each patient, and takes the time to get to know them each individually. He is a true artist of his craft, and I will fly to California to see him now that he is leaving Maryland
