I walked in with no appointment but a problem I had been struggling with for 2 weeks with no relief from my primary Dr. Dr Nahass's front office was saying there was no way I could see him without an appointment but the Dr had wandered into the front office while I was talking with his staff. Put him in room 3 he said. 10 minutes later I had a prescription and better understanding of what was wrong with my leg. The man cares and that counts a lot with me. Once I was in, his staff showed there better side as well. I understand they are the gatekeepers in the office and respect that they were protecting the Dr in there way at first. If you have a choice to use Dr Nahass over another one, this is the guy you want.

I have had rare drug reactions to multiple antibiotics. All other mds got it wrong. This doctor took time., did tests and supported me when I needed a true diagnostic evaluation. A plus. Good guy 💫

I went in for Lyme after my PCP did blood work and I came up positive (late 2011). I not only had 3 in recent infection positive but had only one in the "chronic" area (18). Treated as a recent infection with antibiotics and sent on my way. Not knowing too much about Lyme (and igenex, and poss coinfections), I thought I was in the clear. It is now 2015, I have many medical problems for a "healthy" late 20's yr old- my body is basically 3x my age. Ruled everything else out that could cause such deterioration so quickly. Every doctor that sees me for my medical problems says that I am a very rare case b/c my complex medical issues have only been seen with patients who have been in serious car wrecks/trauma, which I haven't. One doctor thankfully told me I was never treated properly by this place for Lyme and referred me to a Lyme literate doctor, who does testing through igenex and IS aware how common it is for Lyme patients to get hit with coinfections as well and should always be tested & treated if present. Disappointed that it took about 3 years of my life away when I did in fact have CHRONIC Lyme, and coinfections that needed to be treated. Now I know so many people who have been through this with doctors not treating Lyme as it should be and the consequences that come from having the delay of having ID doctors saying you are in the clear when in fact you weren't and the havoc it causes down the line. If I were a Lyme patient, I would not go to this office. The fact that I did have one in chronic section but they chose to overlook it at that time and treat me as a recent infection (3 weeks antibiotics) has made my life a rollercoaster not knowing the root cause for all the issues when I thought I was lyme free - looking back and knowing this could have been avoided by treating me with IV antibiotics (which my PCP told me I would but ID turned around and said treat as recent) and checking for those common co-infections. Feel like if I would have gotten treatment when I first went in and knowing so much more about it today (have a few friends who were in the documentary "Under my Skin" & basically had to fight for proper treatment) I wouldn't have all of the problems I have today medically. LYME people just beware - you must be sure you have no coinfections and are getting proper care or you end up with problems down the road like I did. I'm looking to see if there's anything legally I can do as this could have been handled better and I would have avoided all of my troubles today. I have my whole team of doctors who stand behind me with this. I mean, the system is all screwed up with Lyme - wont consider you chronic unless you meet all strict criteria which MOST do not. Look for Lyme literate doctors or ID Drs that do labwork with igenex. Trust me on this and spare yourself of fidning out years later that something could have been done before you have many more problems and suffering that could have been avoided. The fact they don't even bring up coinfections (at least to me, and now knowing more) and the fact that everyone's body is different and sometimes will not always meet criteria even when it may be present... Thumbs down. Go Lyme lit or infectious disease that can offer you ingenex testing. Spare yourself being told you're well and fidning out years later they didn't know what the heck they were talking about. Finally on the road to some real recovery after living w/ debilitating issues that were as result of having improper care and a doctor who wouldn't even consider I was chronic, despite having it show up on BW for 18.

I have been seeing Dr. Nahass for 2 months now. He never rushes his appointments with me. He sits and lets me ask as many questons as I want, he thoroughly explains all his answers to be and also goes online to show me backup data from various medical sources including the FDA when appropriate. I am not sure how anyone could say anything but excellent. He and his staff have gone out of their way to make sure I am taken care of. In my humble opinion he is an amazing doctor and has treated me with nothing but respect and kindness while I am battling a tough medical issue.

this practice stranded us in the middle of treatment when they were dropped by our insurance company. they offered virtually no help, sent us a form letter to inform us and were less the pleasant about subsequent conversations. he may or may not be a good doctor but stay the away from his practice. they are awful.

Dr. Nahass may literally be saving my life when no other doctor would help me. He's been professional and has answered all my questions and concern. He also gave me great advice when I learned about what I had and steered me in the right direction. There are times when he is backed up with other patients, but just be patient and he will get to you. I'd much reccommend him if you have a disease that no other doctor can understand.

Dr. Nahass saved my husband's life. When nobody else could figure out what he had, Dr. Nahass recognized a rare autoimmune disease, and performed the necessary tests to confirm his suspicions. He even had my husband's specimens sent to the Mayo Clinic for verification. We will be forever grateful to him.

Not only refused to treat my Lyme disease properly, but because of his approach (to help the insurance company, not the patient!!!)-he caused me suffer for years! He broke his MD pledge "PRIMUM NOT NOCERE". His licence should have been taken away long time ago!

Well 1st off..I was Very ill 21 yr old female..and he treated me like a psych pt...LYme pateients beware!!!!This dr will not even consider the possiblilty of chronic lyme OR even the long term ramifications it can cause.maybe if your a typical cut and clear case of hiv or hepatitis..he'd be great..I wouldn't see him ever ever again..to the point I won't even go to a hosp he's affilated with in any way..he's cold..and spends 10 mins with you and big suprise out the door never to be seen again...not to mention he tried to take away my drs liscence the one dr who has given me a second chance and made me well again...maybe if one of his family members went thru late stage lyme id bet you he'd have them seeing my dr and would have a picc inserted asap....HORRIBLE!!!!!!

The Doctor treated me like a non-person. He took me in early, before I had completed my medical history. I didn't get the feeling that he was knowledgable on Lyme, as he only used one piece of evidence (my previous, prelim. blood testing) to determine that I no longer have Lyme. He refused to consider further, more accurate types of blood work; he made an immediate determination without considering my medical history; and, he could not explain with any convinciing detail why he came up with the decision. His comments were essentially cold and rude and gave me the impression that he was in this business ONLY to make money. Overall, I felt wisked in & out of his office like he truly had no interest in what level of care he was providing. I feel that I must get a second opinion on my true condition, since I don't have the confidence that the Lyme is truly gone from my system and I cannot afford for it to return sometime in the future (when I can no longer get rid of it completely).
