Completely useless. I just wasted my time and money. I'm bipolar and I take an antidepressant and a mood stabilizer. My antidepressant isn't working and I'm having trouble functioning on a daily basis. He took me off of the current antidepressant but wouldn't give me anything to replace it. I requested lithium but he wouldn't give it to me. Then he told me to do research online and come back in 30 days! I can't wait 30 days. I've had this disease for 20 years. I don't need to do more research. I've done plenty of research over the years. So, basically, I informed him that my depression is getting out of hand and his response was to take me off an antidepressant altogether. I had to call my PCP and make an appointment to get the lithium. What a waste of time, money and gas. I am absolutely dumbfounded.

This doctor did not let me speak. He based his diagnosis on a questionnaire. He diagnosed me as bipolar yet five psychs since have stated I have mild anxiety. He also automatically diagnosed my husband as having bipolar without ever having a discussion. When I asked how he gathered his diagnosis he never ever had an answer. He ruined my life and my husbands life. The medical board of New Jersey needs to be made aware of this.

He is a terrible doctor! He is rude and he has no idea what he is doing. I cant believe he is still practicing. Worst doctor I've every been to by far.

My experience was similar to the other comments posted here. I was not allowed to speak or discuss my symptoms and was continuously interrupted. I was offered only one treatment and the information I was provided regarding this medication was limited. His attitude was "take it or leave it". He seems to provide only one diagnosis and one medication as treatment, regardless of who the patient is and what their symptoms are. I would avoid at all costs.

This doctor diagnosed bipolar in 20 mins and I ended up in the hospital because the medication was too potent and I'm not at all bipolar. When I tried to discuss the matter with him, he told me to get a second opinion and kicked me out of his office. I HIGHLY discourage anyone to see this doctor unless all you want are drugs, drugs and more drugs!!!

This dr had diagnosed me bi-polar w depression. I was in an abusive relationship at the time. After getting out of this relationship I had realized I was depressed at the time but def not bipolar. I actually stopped my meds, which didn't seem to do anything for me anyway, and felt better than I ever had. I went back to this dr and asked him to change my diagnosis and clear my record. He told me even if I answered the questionnaire differently, he'd keep my same diagnosis. Asked me to leave and gave my copay back.
