Biography

Dr. Julie Chang was born in S. Korea and immigrated to the United States when she was 11 years old. She grew up in Aurora, Colorado and attended University of Colorado, where she majored in Biology. She then received her Doctor of Optometry degree at New England College of Optometry located in Boston, Massachusetts. She continued her optometry education and completed a residency program with emphasis in geriatrics at the West Lost Angeles VA Medical Center. Dr. Chang founded Optikos Optometry in 2001 and has been serving the local communities ever since. Dr. Julie lives in Valencia, CA with her husband and 2 beautiful daughters. She is an avid Denver Broncos fan and in her free time, she enjoys traveling in her RV with family and friends.
