I had a horrible first appointment with Dr. Chang, when I visited for a separate problem. Months later, I was desperate to see a neurologist (she is the ONLY Neurologist local without a 6 month wait list for an appointment. Hmmmmm. ) and decided to try her again. She seldom spoke, or nodded in understanding while I was talking. She did not perform a basic neurological exam---even though I sustained direct trauma to my head and spent 9 days in the hospital. I took the time to write out a detailed summary of the reason for the visit. It was evident that she didn't bother to read it. She wrote "migraines" as the primary reason for the visit on the billing chart. She spoke very little and was of no help what so ever. Seems to not listen or care about patients.

Outstanding visit from start to finish! She began our visit by asking me detailed questions about my medical history, taking copious notes, and asking for clarifications and more info to remove all ambiguity. She explained her approach to treating my condition, wanting to know if I was comfortable with her methodology or if I wanted a different approach or changes. She listened attentively, and my care and treatment plan was a collaborative effort between the two of us. I will continue my care journey with her, and would highly recommend her to folks seeking competent neurological care!
