My worst experience ever!!!
I was scheduled for an initial appointment with Dr. Laura at 10.30am. I recently moved from out of state and am looking for a place to transfer my orthodontic treatment. I got there sharp at 10.30, there were some people in the waiting room, but I was called about 5 minutes after I got there, which I believed was a good sign. They took my X-rays and told me to wait to be called to see the doctor.
For the first hour I just asked them politely how much longer it would take but started getting frustrated after nobody did anything after I complained. I figured if I had already waited an hour I could wait a bit more.
They showed me to the examination room and told me the doctor would be with me shortly. They left me there for an entire hour!!! And still the doctor would not come to see me!!
This is a horrible place, staff is rude, the doctor was even ruder and didn't even show any sympathy. I would not recommend anybody to come to this place!!!

THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! Dr Davis for giving me a BEAUTIFUL smile!!! When I transferred into your office over a year ago I was so nervous about starting over with a new doctor but you made those nerves fade away and I couldn't be more pleased with my results. I now have a smile that I am proud of and I love to show it off to everyone! Thanks for always taking the time out of your busy day to answer any of my concerns regarding my progress. You always told me not to worry and that everything will turn out wonderful and it did!! I thank you from the bottom of my heart for making my transition very pleasant. I will be telling everyone where I got this Beautiful smile and send them your way.
Sincerely,
Haley Manning

Just last week I brought my 12 year old daughter in for her initial consultation and could not have been more pleased with the service. The office was very busy but when it came time for Dr. Davis to evaluate my daughter she spent so much time with us and really showed a genuine interest in getting to know her. When I first called to make an apt they prepared me well so when I got into the office to discuss the financial end of my daughter's orthodontics I was aware of what to expect initially. My daughter loved the fact that there is a theatre for her to wait in before being seen...her words were " that's really cool"! Needless to say we are VERY pleased with the service from the beginning to the end of our initial consultation. She is THRILLED to be getting her braces on in a couple of weeks!! Thank you Dr. Davis and your staff for making our experience GREAT!!!!

I have so many issues with this office, I don't even know where to begin. First of all, let me start by telling you this - I DO have a point of comparison because this was my son's second go-round with braces due to an unexpected growth spurt that occurred when he was about 18 years old, so I KNOW how a GOOD ortho's office should be run. I chose this office instead of going to the previous ortho, honestly out of laziness because this office was closest to where we'd moved (BIG MISTAKE). Never again will I make such a poor decision.
FIRST OFF, if you are making your initial consultation, you will get in IMMEDIATELY, and you will be treated SOOOOO WELL, but DON'T BE FOOLED! The staff is not the worst, but they certainly could use a little more training. However, I would even be okay with the staff if the other issues weren't so pressing:
1) Payment Plan: I opted to pay in installments and to keep the payments lower, they make you pay for the retainers on the back end. If you are comparing solely based on monthly installment, it would appear that the cost is more reasonable; however, when you factor in the cost of retainers, it's the same as my other (MUCH PREFERRED) ortho. I asked to have this cost included in the payments as this would be so much more convenient for me and my financial situation, but this was not allowed as an option. I did put money aside for the retainers, but a more flexible payment plan would've been much more convenience. This should've been my first clue of what was to come.
2) BE PREPARED TO BE THERE FOREVER. My son is NEVER at an appointment for less that 1.5 hours, which is RIDICULOUS compared to his other ortho (he was always out in 30 minutes or less). Oftentimes, most of that time is spent waiting to be seen. They will call him to the back, but all he does is go to a theatre (aka another waiting area) to watch movies, etc. until he's called into the actual chair. Then the wait to actually be seen is another story altogether.
3) Trying to schedule appointments is like passing an act in Congress. It's SOOOOOO inconvenient with virtually no flexibility. Appointments are scheduled out about two months out (my other ortho was monthly, I feel this just stretches out treatment unnecessarily) with absolutely no wiggle room. If a particular day/time doesn't work for you, your choices are to adjust your entire life to make it happen, or schedule it out even further in advance, putting your treatment way behind, which incurs additional costs. Really?????
Oh, and whatever you do, DON'T HAVE ANYTHING UNEXPECTED COME UP ONCE THE APPOINTMENT HAS BEEN SET!!! I've tried to reschedule an appointment as much as a month in advance due to an exam my son could not miss in school, and, again, the only choice was to push his treatment back almost a whole month, once again, incurring extra charges. RIDICULOUS!!!
4) I was very unhappy with the progression of my son's treatment. I feel that they spaced treatment out for some reason (maybe to make sure they got all their money...?) because it had only been a couple of months since having his first set of braces removed that we started coming here, so his teeth couldn't have shifted THAT MUCH. In fact, it took the better part of a year for his gap to close - the same gap which initially only took about 4-5 months to close with his previous ortho - only smaller! WHAT'S THE DEAL WITH THAT???
Honestly, if this had been my first experience with an ortho, I would not have known better and just chalked it up to the industry, but there are MUCH BETTER OPTIONS OUT THERE - pleassseeee do your research and exhaust ALL OTHER CHOICES before considering this office. Dr. Davis herself was pretty nice the one time I met her, but it's really just not worth the headache. If you work hard for your money like I do, I think we deserve to be treated with much more care, compassion, professionalism, and some sort of effort toward customer friendliness should be exhibited.
In short -DON'T DO IT!!!
