I found Dr Welgoss to be very desensitized & apathetic before & after having a sacral colpopexy in 2022. I had an overnight hospital stay and he did not follow-up with me, nor did any other physician from his practice. 2 weeks after the surgery, I began experiencing more pain. I called his office a few times and was called back by a nurse and advised to take more Advil or Tylenol. I finally had to insist on an appointment to be examined to determine the cause & manage the pain. He said everything looked fine and dismissed the pain I came in for. I haven’t heard from him or anyone else in his practice since then. I do NOT recommend him based on my experience. There was no reason for him to be so absent and uncaring. Unlike Dr Welgoss, his front office staff treated me humanely, respectfully, and with dignity.

After being examined by Dr. Wilgoss, I left a urine and kept a diary which I sent in a few days later at his instruction. He said that he would call with the results. I never heard from him or anyone in his office even after repeated calls. Months after my appointment I still do not know the results of the culture or conclusions drawn from the diary. I would

The office personnel are professional and very accommodating. I felt extremely comfortable with the staff. Dr. Welgoss and his support team are amazing.

Dr. Welgoss explained my situation and even discovered things a CT-Scan did not catch. He provided a visual aid and walked me through a very detailed diagnosis. He provided me with various options to allow me to make the best decision for treatment. I eventually opted for the permanent solution. I am 6 weeks post op and indebted to him for giving me a pain-free life. I suffered so much pain every day that I forgot it was abnormal. After my surgery I felt immediate results. No woman ever wants to find herself needing the services of a Urogynecologist, especially at the age of 30. But after suffering trauma from the birth of my son, I was referred to Mid-Atlantic Urogynecology and was paired with Dr. Welgoss. From the first time I met him, I knew I was in the best possible hands to care for my situation. I appreciated his thoroughness in becoming familiar with the background that led me to his office and using that to determine the best approach going forward. He took the time to explain everything in full detail as well as answer my many, many questions; I never felt like "just" another patient or that I was being rushed out the door. As a surgeon, he is incredibly skilled and, I truly believe, one of the best in the DC metropolitan area. He takes pride in his work and checked in with me during every step of the recovery period. I cannot say how grateful I am for finding myself under the care of Dr. Welgoss.

I've had one visit with Dr. Welgoss where he was extremely helpful and seemed interested in my long-term care as a complicated case. I needed to schedule surgery but he wanted to follow-up with my previous doctors before scheduling. I followed up for two months since I hadn't heard from him to try and get an answer about the extent of the surgery and left over ten messages. I just asked for confirmation they were even receiving my messages and the receptionist was extremely rude and didn't seemed concerned the nurses hadn't returned my calls in so long. My condition has worsened and I need to fly to my previous doctor across the country now. This was such a waste of time.

Dr. Welgoss preformed my surgery. I could not have had a better doctor through the complete process. The staff was also very friendly and professional. I would recommend Dr. Welgoss to anyone that needs an excellent ob/gyn, especially a surgeon.

I was referred to Dr. Jeffery Welgoss by my urologist. I have lived in Nothern Virginia for over forty years and have seen many doctors. Never have I had the experience with a doctor like I did with Dr. Welgoss. He was rude, sarcastic and showed very little interest in the problem I was experiencing. He suggested two things I might consider which required making appointments with two other doctors. I ask him what was I do do in the meantime. He replied, "you have only been here an hour what do you expect a miracle". I was so tempted to walk out, but not being a RUDE person I stayed until the visit was finished. As a 78 year old woman, I should not have experienced the emotional trauma I went through with Dr. Welgoss. I will never recommend him to anyone.
