I have went to Doctor Sonek for 2 pregnancy now. My first was fine, I had no issue. I had to be induced due to preclamsia. He took every precaution to be sure my child and myself were okay. I had my second child in Ohio, and I am not back to doctor Sonek with my thrid child, I have nothing bad to say other than the office wait time. He is great at all my appointments and I have High faith that he will be great during my delivery again.

I waited 2 hours in the waiting room and 30 more mins in the room to be seen. His staff is absolutely rude and disorganized. The office manager has no idea what she is doing. They do not return phone calls. My appointments with the actual doctor are less than 5 min. This office needs major improvement. It feels like a free clinic some days. Finding new doctor because the office is run poorly

I like Dr. Sonek as a person and he's a nice doctor, the office wait time can be so long though I've waited in the waiting room WITH AN APPT for 3 hours after my scheduled time and than another hour to get through the actual visit. Staff is super nice though, it just takes a lot of patience.

He recently saved me from a horrible doctor (Carzoli) He took the time to listen to my concerns and took me on at 38weeks pregnant high risk even though carzoli wouldnt even send my records he took 45 minutes to do my ultrasound and get all the information he needed and he put my problems to rest i look forward to delivering a healthy baby by my due date in a week or so!! yes sometimes the wait in the lobby is lengthily but you never know what someone is going through in the back!!!

Dr.sonek seems like an okay doctor i seen him for the first time when i had my ultrasound but i hardly could understand what he was saying but overall they move slow i have been waiting two hours to be seen from a doctor which is wrong there be problem is seen everyone at the sametime but this my first child and im so excited to have my first child with Dr.sonek

I was transferred recently to Dr. Sonek after my doctor's office closed unexpectedly. I love him! Yes, he's sometimes hard to understand (open your ears, and take the time to listen), and yes he is rushed. He just obtained most the clients from my old doctor's office. But he is incredibly intelligent, and I trust him fully. He has what I call "grumpy old man" moments, and it just cracks me up. He's never been rude to me or my husband. I have heard him snap at his staff, but hey, he's a doctor that likes things to go right and he makes sure that happens. I love his staff. They are very friendly and helpful on the phone and in person. I'm glad I have the opportunity to work with Dr Sonek. He's taking very good care of me and my unborn son.

Dr sonic might be a lot of things but he is proficient in what he does if your having a problem he will get to the bottom of things and try to find the root of things I've had a lot go on in and with my body and I been to serval doctors and emegency rooms but when I got with sonic he knew what the problem was had to have out patient surgery but I truly thank god for him he is a blessing dnt juge a book y it's cover I forgot to mention that I saw dr sonic at the bank and he had remembered me from 4yrs prior wow I told him of the vaginal problems he told me o come see him and I've been doing good since. So many doctors look me in my face and couldn't give me any answers and I suffered with this issue for4yrs I'm just grateful and thankful for being pain free Thank ou Dr Sonic.

Dr. Sonek has been my OBGYN for 8 years now and I can't believe some of these reviews so I just had to set the record straight! He is a great doctor. When I first started coming to him I had abnormal Pap smears for several years in a row and all other physicians would say "Well if nothing is bothering you, then I don't see the point in trying to look for why it's abnormal." I never thought anything of it until I saw Dr. Sonek. It was by chance he was the Doctor that saw me in the ER during my miscarriage. It was a hard thing to go through but Dr. Sonek was a kind, caring physician who didn't rest until he found out why and fixed the abnormality. I recently had my first child and I can say I could not have chosen anyone better to take care of me or my son (circumcision). He is the only Dr. at Capital City OBGYN right now and he is busy but I would say he's definitely worth the wait. I made it clear that I only wanted him to deliver my son and he made sure he was there even after hours!

I do not like his staff what so ever but that has nothing to do with him as a doctor. He has many years of experience in his feild & I trust him completely. I have never heard a complaint from anyone about him. Yes his time is lengthy at appointments but then again he runs his whole floor by himself. His nurses have days of being ok and other straight rude and I have talked to them about that.. as long as Dr. Sonek know he will talk to them also. I am 26 weeks pregnant & couldn't ask for a better doc. He is a bit vold hearted and heard to understand sometimes but he does know what he is talking about. I trust him completely with the life of my child.

I have been going to Dr Sonek since my first Pap smears. I am now pregnant & I chose him as my doc. I do not have an issue with him personally but I feel like he doesn't ease my concerns laying on my left side & drinking caffeine only works to a point. His staff is absolutely rude except the scheduling nurse. She is more helpful then the doctor himself .. Very nervous to deliver with him.
