I've only seen him once, but he made an extremely helpful tweak to the medication I've been on, that radically improved, how I was feeling and the idiot, I had been seeing, missed. He is probably the most anal being I, or you will EVER meet, think Dexter or Hannibal out on a kill, and Lincoln's compassion and dignity mixed in, but none of their humor. At least, thus far humor less, hard to imagine him smile or laugh. Totally un animated, yet actually can surprisingly pull things out of one effortlessly, and I actually sensed a lot of compassion, underneath. He is an intense listener. The expression on his face is what you would think God's face would look like when you were describing your depression and anxiety. It's anodd experience. His intake paperwork was rather mind blowing in it's intelligence, and it made me look at my depression in some new ways. Yes, he is startling , abrupt, and his regimented and "oh my!" so expensive, ) and you will probably be wondering if there's a body in closet somewhere, but my sense thus far is, that this is a very bright guy, who for whatever reason needs to be that highly regimented and utterly controlling about EVERYTHING, and that invinced in me, more pity than scorn. If you don't do well with authority, firm limits, and strict regulation. this may not be the doctor for you, but I was shocked by how much l did in fact like him. I was prepared to, dislike him immensley, but after a second of sitting down, really liked him. a lot. He has more rules than any military boot camp, and I have never seen anyone have a pay scale for their phone time, that runs along the lines of: 1- 3 minutes, $, 8 minutes : $,...10 to 31: minutes and 2 seconds... $," you get the idea. He strikes me as the teacher who is universally complained about and feared, yet when you finally get them in school, he/she is a whole lot nicer than you thought they would be.
