Agree with former comments. Find a different doc for your kiddo.

For a Ped's doctor she is AWFUL and needs to return to school regarding bedside manner. If your child is easily scared don't go here! She gets huffy if your child doesn't cooperate with her exam. She spends very little time w/your child and is not friendly!

Agree with a previous comment 100%. Very arrogant, brief and non caring. Left office feeling very hopeless and unsure of how to handle my 4 year old daughter's eye problem. Will be calling around for new Ophthalmologist and definitely one who is more familiar with approaching young children and their concerned parents. I cannot speak on her helpfulness with adult patients, only as a parent of a 4 year old. Unacceptable.

Dr. Piippo did surgery two times on my sister who is special needs. She was very through in explaining everything to my sister and to me. Very patient with her and did not talk down to her. My sister's vision has improved greatly. I would recommend her to anyone.

Arrogant and non caring doctor. Waited over two hours to see her and she spent less than 15 minutes with my grand daughter. Said she was never going to be able to see, drive or have a normal life. Well, three years later my grand daughter is functioning very well, no thanks to Dr. Piippo. I would never recommend this doctor to anyone.

One of the TOP pediatric Ophthmologists in the US for very good reason! She is amazing!!

Dr Piippo is very knowlegable and helpful. She makes sure my questions are answered. She works with kids and their eye problems.
