Doctor Israel has helped myself, helped my family, and friends who have been in distress at one time or another in their life. His knowledge in his field is vast and growing, but his knowledge in life, religion, relationships, is exceptionally wide. I have seen his work first hand with youths. The extent of work that he does to get their attention is amazing. I do have my personal experience with Dr Israel but everybody that I have referred has nothing but wonderful feedback. I have had or heard zero exceptions.

I have grown immensely with Dr. Israel's help! Yes, his office is messy; yes, his practice could benefit from a full-time receptionist -- AND I can overlook the mess and persist in contacting, scheduling, etc., because I work with Dr. Israel on ME...His issues are HIS! Again, he has and continues to aid me in discovering and nurturing my BEST self.

Completely agree with review posted on 01/15/18!!! Accepts only cash payments and issues handwritten receipts. Has 4 phone numbers, all mailboxes full so when you call no one answers and you cannot leave a message. Staff has never been present during a single visit. Office is a mess and a fire hazard. Debris by the front door and scattered all through the office. The walls are paper thin and he LOVES to yell, so literally everything is heard in the waiting room. When he hears the door chime, he actually starts speaking louder so he's heard more clearly in the waiting room. After being here several times, this is a consistent practice. MAJOR HIPPA violation! He will ask questions, then yell over you when you try to answer during an evaluation. How is he supposed to do an evaluation when he won't let the patient answer? When you try to use basic psychology terms to address a question, he says he's never heard the term before. Every single person I see walk out of that office is visibly shaken when they leave, and those who hear everything going on in his office from the waiting room are visibly shaken as well. I'm trembling as I write this, in all honesty. This man scares me.

His actions and demeanor roused my suspicions so I decided to research his credentials. Nowhere online is his school listed. However, the paperwork he displays on his wall states that he graduated in 2003 from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology @ Argosy University. Argosy University did not obtain accreditation until 2011.

If this man didn't have patients coming in from the legal system, he would have lost his practice ages ago.

Only wants cash, tells you WHILE you’re filling out paperwork that your health insurance probably won’t go through. Seems completely sketchy.
Ready to fail a court ordered client just by hearing the case.
Messy and unorganized office. Texts and acts bored during sessions. Terrible “doctor”.
