Both Dr. Best and Becky have always been professional, helpful, and friendly. I've been a patient of theirs for a long time and will continue to be.

Called to set up appointment and asked about cost of exam with pupillary distance and that i needed a copy of the retina photo which Becky said they would send me was and told $140 When filling out paper work there is an added charge of $49 to provide this. Before exam I discussed this with Becky who handles glasses and assisted in exam and said it only applies if i buy glasses online and bring back for adjustment. At end of exam Dr. did not have pupillary distance even when i saw it written down. At checkout Becky said she was charging me $49 ( for nothing).and became very hostile and said quote " i will not sell you glasses" after I said if she could get close to online price I would buy from her.. She then said she was not going to charge the$ 49. Also the lady complained about making money , and then when ringing up the the bill said i am charging you $149. Had Becky been honest on initial phone call about fees i would not have set foot in this office.No photo Terrible!

Good initial visit. Mr Best is an older gentleman who seemed jovial and spent a great deal of time doing a thorough examination. A little expensive, but it seemed worth it for the time spent. It was on my follow up that thing got strange and disturbing. I had been presented with two types of contacts to try, neither of which would work for me. I did not feel safe driving in either pair, so I arrived for my follow up in glasses, much to the consternation of the receptionist. For a moment, I did not even think that I would be allowed to see Mr Best. When he did come out from his office, and I explained my problem, he suggested that perhaps I should write my own prescrition. He also told me that I was not interested in having the best possible vision, and finally that I would no longer be his patient. The bottom line is that I now have to find another optometrist so that I might receive a prescrition that will work for me. Well, it was Friday, perhaps it was a bad week.

Dr. Best is a great Dr. Not only is he very thorough, he has a real passion for eye care and is always sharing information about the eye and vision. Every trip is an education. Great guy too... and Becky is a sweetheart and super to work with.

Dr. Best worked with me from October-January (5 pairs of contacts) until I could see perfectly. No other doctor has ever been willing (or able) to do that. And Becky is wonderful too. I would recommend them to everyone.

Dr Best will that as much time as it takes to insure your best vision result. I think he took it as a personal challenge to get my contacts just right! Several attempts for me to try em and come back until we were good to go. Thanks Dr Best for helping me ski without glasses and all the fogging that goes with them.
