My family has seen Doctor Saben for 10 years.. My daughter first started seeing him when she was 7 and I shortly after that. He is caring, knowledgeable and can read you like a book, everything you need in a psychiatrist. He keeps up on all the newest findings and has stabilized my daughter, me and now my youngest. He is what i would say sometimes not personable but that's not because he doesn't care its just him. The last time I was in there he was almost giddy about how stable I am now and that was a side I hadn't seen yet but I enjoyed it. Even blogged about it!What a great Gift he has and has been to our family! I recommend him 100% of the time. and believe me I have seen a lot of doctors that didn't care..

Dr. Saben is really excellent. I am the partner of one of his patients who struggles with chronic mental illness. He listens to my concerns, returns my phone calls and remembers the details of my partner's life. He really does care about what happens to my partner, who has been seeing him for a very long time now. Long story short, I believe Dr. Saben does right by his patients, he knows his stuff, he listens and remembers and is very positive with both family members and his patients. I say 5 very well deserved stars!

Doctor Saben is an excellent Doctor! He is very attentive and sincerely wants to help. When you first meet him he might seem a little fast but that's just his nature. He really listens and wants to help you. Oh and by the way, don't go to him if you want a gullible doctor who will just prescribe anything. He thinks about what he gives you and won't just write a script out of the blue. That doesn't mean he won't give you more "controlled" substances if necessary he just wants to be sure that you are not trying to take advantage of him and that they are actually justified. When I first saw him I was worried (based on one other review I read) that he wouldn't continue my Xanax prescription but once he saw the need he had no problem prescribing it.
