Dr. Namazi is a great doctor but has the worst office staff I have ever encountered! I was sick with constant sore throats and saw two Drs in the group which I won't mention here. I asked to see Dr N. and I really liked his practice of medicine and knowledge. He gave me medicine and although it took about a month the infection went away. Unfortunately it came back and I was not allowed to see Dr N. again. I called the office numerous times and was pushed onto Drs that I didn't want. A specified I only wanted to see Dr. n as I had a better experience with his care over the other Drs in the practice. Was told he couldn't see me for three weeks. I tried calling other ENTs in the LA area and they were all booked up. I even offered to
Sit and wait in the office which they refused. The infection got worse because they couldn't see me and turned into bronchitis. Which I blame on him and his office. Yea I could have went to a regular Dr but I wanted to get treated by a Dr who specializes in this medicine. Growing up I've been in and out of ENT offices and gone to regular doctors only to not be prescribed the correct medicine and the virus or infection get worse and finally be treated by an ENT. I don't wanna waste money going to see a Dr when I know I'm gonna have to fork out money again and get treatment all over. If a regular Dr could handle Ear Nose and Throat issues then there would be no need for an ENT. I was also told repeatedly by the staff that I need to go to the ER or call 911. This was not and emergency and I don't have 6,9000 dollars to send on an emergency room. Flash forward to today i again have come down with another throat infection and call Dr. N's office to get treatment. I'm told that I can't see the doctor I choose because bit seen two other doctors in the practice before. Why as the patient can I choose the doctor that I want and why do I have to be forced on the somebody that I don't want to go to? Was told that because I've seen these other doctors even though I have seen Dr. N that I can only see them and they will not allow me to see Dr.n. Spoke to the office manager who is belligerent nasty called me dumb stupid said that I should go to the ER and that basically the only way they would help me is if they made me go to the doctor that I didn't want. Now I'm stuck with another problem and can't get into see a doctor because everyone in the LA area is booked or doesn't take my insurance even though Dr. N office has openings they refused to see me. I doubt the doctor in the Mahsie is the way this is going on because in the right minded physician would not treat patients like that. The office manager and staff needs to be fired and Dr. N needs to take back control of his office. Do not go to this practice as Long as this office staff is running things for Dr N. Not sure where he got such rude inconsiderate incompetent staff to deal with patients that have medical needs. This needs to be addressed right away with the California medical board. Dr.N has a horrible excuse for medical practice office and needs to rethink if he should be in the business.

I've met the dr Namazie once and he was nice and seemed very knowledgeable - a bit "rushed" since he's very busy and I'm not sure that's a good thing. His office staff is AWFUL. They say they will call you back - but never do. The voice mails never get returned. It's almost comical. Also - I think that there's complete lack of discipline and attention to detail in his office.
He identified 2 things that need to be done (2 cpr codes) and then later - during the back-and-fourth with his office this turned into 3 and ultimately into 4 cpr codes... And all that without him taking part in it.
I guess business is good and he does not care that much - but his office and his office staff is SLOPPY, NON-RESPONSIVE and DANGEROUS. I say dangerous because I'm not sure how 2 procedures can turn into 4 without another doctor visit or examination. If it's a case of "padding" the bill - this is criminal behavior and someone should be arrested.
After trying to get to the bottom of this with his staff - I finally gave up and went to another doctor. He might be ok, but his office is toxic and should be avoided at all costs. I'm sending a complaint to the board and the health dept about this - because I think that something shady is going on there regarding billing and should be investigated.

Worst experience with the staff. I had an appointment, so a Teresa from Dr.'s office called to confirm it and she mentioned, “I am calling to confirm today’s appointment at 1:30pm.” She also gave me directions with the two wrong turns. I finally found the place and another girl at the reception tells me that the doctor is not in that office today. He is in Sherman oaks. I called Sherman Oaks, asked for Teresa, and they said she’s not in, so I asked to speak to the manager and Of course manager is not in. Since I already got off of work, I asked if I can see the Dr. at the Sherman Oaks office. They put me on hold and Teresa (which was not in) picks up the phone and tells me NO. Even after I explain to her that this is no way to treat a patient and I can’t get off of work, drive 35 miles just because the staff screwed up. She didn’t even apologize or act like she cared for her patients, office, or job. If Dr. Namazie cares for his reputation, he can contact me xkuisit@gmail.com

After having a total Thyroidectomy by Dr. Namazi three weeks ago I can truly say that he is an excellent surgen. He was ready to answer all my questions and he made me feel comfortable and safe eventhough I was scared of the surgery and was panicking on the OR .He personally visited me at the hospital three times His staff were very kind and understanding with me. Thank you Dr. Namazi and your staff for taking care of me and for being understanding.
