I was so happy with Dr. Efron and his staff. I had a tumor removed during a 10 hour procedure and healed wonderfully. He was attentive and truly kept me at ease. I even retained my sense of humor. If you ever need to have a tumor removed, this is the guy you want performing surgery. (see humor) Thanks Dr. Efron!

Dr. Enron performed a craniotomy to fix my hemifacial spasm 2 weeks ago. Beginning with my first visit he explained in detail what was happening and how he would fix it. He was so kind to me and displayed a great sense of humor. I was a ease and had no qualms about the surgery. Of course every thing turned out well. I feel so lucky to have had him for my neurosurgeon as he is the best.

I had to have a craniotomy for hemifacial spasms that had been bothering me for 5 years. Dr. Efron explained in detail how he would fix my problem and what would happen after. He was compassionate, easy to reach by phone or email answered all my questions and was very experienced in this type of operation, which put my mind at ease. He kept a close watch on me after the operation when I was totally helpless. Thanks to him I am able to face people again without the embarrassment of those facial spasms. He is a dedicated neurosurgeon and the best in his profession.

I was Diagnosed with cervical spine edendymoma C2-C7 by MRI Feb. 8th 2013 and had surgery to remove this tumor by Dr. Allen Efron Nuerosurgeon in Redwood City Kaiser Hospital, on March 8th 2013. I consider Dr. Efron as a wonderful person with the utmost consideration to my situation, knowledgable, great bedside manor, experienced, down to earth, genuine caring, hopeful and reassuring of a positive outcome. My experience through my surgery was spectacular and the outcome was better than I ever expected. Thank you so much Dr. Efron for a second chance at life!

dr efron performed surgery on a ruptured AVM. I was in a COMA shortly aftr arriving in ER. he did an amazing job & thanks to him, Im a survived. He checked on me while i was in ICU very often even though he didnt have to. He was very caring

BEST neurosurgeon out there! He did my spinal fusion about 12 years agoin NY. I was young and afraid and after seeking numerous opnions I went with him and I'm so glad that I did. He is caring, took the time to explain things and has a great sense of humor! Turns out I need more surgery and I called him in CA (Where he practices now) to ask his opion and he called me back the next morning and spend time on the phone with me and gave me suggestions. AWESOME doctor!
