On March 30, 2016 Dr. Naff surgically removed a cyst that had grown on my lower spine causing severe pain and total numbness to my left leg. After the surgery I experienced almost total feeling in my left leg and the only pain I was soreness from the surgery. I still has some numbness in my left toes but Dr. Naff assured me that I would gain my feeling back in a couple of months. By July, 2016 all numbness was gone and I was back to playing golf and doing my normal activities. Dr. Naff was extremely helpful and one of the most friendly doctors who was very professional and very caring.

About a year ago, I had an incident where I was suddenly struck with sciatic pain. It was terrible, I ended up at the emergency room that night. I went to 4 other doctors before I saw Dr. Naff, who was highly recommended to me by a coworker. I got an appointment within a week. Dr. Naff recommended surgery right away and I was able to schedule it at Sanai 5 days later. A disk in my lower back had slipped and was constricting the nerve. He fully explained my situation and my limited options and answered all my questions. Dr. Naff was the only doctor I saw who understood the level of pain I was in and who wanted to treat the cause, not the symptom. Dr. Naff’s staff was very helpful, friendly, and professional in every encounter I had with them. His scheduler facilitated a quick appointment for me for the pre-op physical. I got a number of documents that explained the surgery, how to prepare for it, and info about the recovery process. His PA was very, very helpful the day of surgery and guided the process well. I was in by 6:00 and out by 5:00 pm. The operation was a success. Although I have what appears to be some permanent nerve damage as Dr. Naff warned, I am doing much, much better.

Horrible! Had a family members have surgery performed by Dr. Naff, it was a ruptured disc and the family member was told he would walk out that afternoon and after waking up from the surgery he was paralyzed and still is after 8 months! Dr. Nag said he would follow him through the whole process and we have not heard from him 1 time throughout this whole nightmare. I believe that he is very arrogant and all about the $$$ I'm not sure if this was a bad experience but I would never recommend him especially after watching what my family member has to go through. Dr. Naff sounded very promising and sounded very knowledgeable but now everything he said he never followed through with and sayed the paralysis was caused by swelling which happened to not be the case!

Dr Neil Naff was the absolute best surgeon I've know. He did my back surgery - a foraminotomy which is a miminum invasive procedure instead of a L4-5 spinal fusion which some good old boy clown surgen decided I needed. I had crusing pain for years. I went in for surgery at 10a at 1pm is was walking around and that pain and siatica (numbness in both legs) was gone!!

He's not arrogant, just busy with no time to suffer fools and whimps with muscle strain pain. I was in serious shape with 100% stenosus of between my L4 adn L5 verterbrae. Crushing my siatic nerves on both legs. Had my MRI's in hand. He took me in directly and did surgery within 10 days.

His competence is why I'm pain free today. His competence is why I have a two inch scar instead of a six inch scar and two steel rods in my back.

He did surgery on a relatives back and the relative was very satisfied and recommended him. He may be competent but he is very arrogant. After I was examined by his assistant I met with him in his office. He was very short, he said can't help you , bye. I had to pry information out of him. If he did surgery and acted that way if I had a problem I would really be in trouble. I suspect he has mental issues and I would highly recommend choosing another doctor.

Saw assist. 1st apt, then Dr 2nd apt only to find doesn't do my type of surgery? couldn't this have been told before had 2nd apt...felt like he was Using Workers Comp because he doesn't like. When referred by my Dr again they make It VERY DIFFICULT for me to get in;they want=HAVE A WRITTEN LETTER FROM IWIF BY END OF TODAY TO KEEP THE APT THAT IS 21 days away.We are talking a workmans comp case, even a regular Dr.s office wouldn't give you a letter THAT DAY.Where would your trust be in a dr. after these 3 appointments? These are the facts, nothing here is made up. Do they have these "RULES" written somewhere in their office under "IWIF/Comp scheduling appointment"? because they should if they were required to prove it somewhere down the road....

Complete waste of my time and money. Didn't even describe the problem to me, only that he didn't want to do surgery on me. Couldn't give me any other options. So apparently I am supposed to stay doped up on narcotics for 20 years.

Made two long distance trips to see Dr naff 1st visit was short and sweet after looking at MRI video we were told that he wouldn't do anything for my wife's back pain that she was too young he also ordered new MRI so we got the MRI so his office calls back and says that he wants to discuss new MRI video we ask if something has changed and he says yes over the phone so we make a second trip down to Baltimore and were extremely surprised when he gives us the same exact recommendation . I felt he was just interested in getting payed for the office visit what a wasted day but the office at quarry drive is at a beautiful place I guess he has to pay the bills so how

Dr. Naff is absolutely the most intelligent person that I have ever met in any walk of life. His fusion surgery on my neck was a success and I will be forever grateful for his help.
