Dr. Knego did an MRI of my Cervical Spine. He told me that C3, 4, 5 needed to be fused. I disagreed but was told he knew what he was doing.

1. I was told after seeing a second Neuro surgeon that he fused the wrong Vertebra, C3,4,5.
2. The C4 & 5 Fusion washed out and my neck was in danger.
3. Dr. #2 diagnosed that C6,7,& T1 were the correct vertabra to fuse but C4,&5 had to be redone and C6 added for strength.
Dr. Knego incorrectly advised me and I now have C3,4,5,6,7, & T1 are fused.
Because of his mistake, C2&3 need to be fused and T1 & 2 need to be fused.

Office staff was great and friendly. Nurse was informative and friendly. Jared, PA, saw me and was very knowledgeable and yes, he was also friendly.. It was because of this I met Dr Knego the AM of my surgery. He was kind, asked if I had any questions, answered them and had an excellent bedside manner. Except for the pain from surgery, I didn’t have numbness and tingling going down arms or pain I had before surgery. I would highly recommend Dr Knego.

I took my elderly mother to Dr. Knego on the recommendation from another orthopedic physician for treatment of a serious neck fracture. Dr. Knego was condescending, rude, unempathetic and impatient with her. It is apparent he is not interested in treating geriatric patients and it shows in every way possible. He may be talented but if you have a older parent needing treatment, my advise is to run the other way. Also, you will likely see his PA instead of Dr. Knego initially and he is much more informative, helpful and listens but in the end it is Dr. Knego who you are seeking treatment from.

Great Neurosurgeon! He does fantastic job in the O.R. His office needs help with returning phone calls, & personality of his staff is sadly lacking. If you want pain relief after surgery, choose a different doctor. But, if you want surgery done correctly, hes still the best.

Yes, I gave Dr. Knego 5 out of 5 stars in all categories! He helped my daughter w/ a problem thst most people have never heard of. That was 2 yrs ago come October. Very knowledgeable, compassionate. Explained things so that we understood & answered most of our questions before we asked. I would recommend him w/ confidence.
