Had Dr Montgomery for spinal surgery and he never came to see me in hospital after surgery to see how I was doing and not only that he never called my wife after surgery. As for my surgery he put my fusion in wrong and after a year he said i needed fusion to be removed by another doctor . Ask for my records it did not mention that i needed it removed . He covered his butt .. I’m in worst shape now because of surgery i had with him.legs and feet hurt and lower back. So Do Not Go With This Dr.

Run,Do not walk.He has already had three lawsuit's.Google it.He caused me spinal cord injury incomplete.He covered it up with the help of his partner doctor Eng.His is a brillant surgeon.But something is wrong with him.If he does not like you.That you will never know?Intill after your surgery.He left broken hardware in my neck he seen by cat scan.He told me verbel.But did not have it printed on my papers.Also he kept the disc.Telling me he needed it for my surgery.He is a real narrsist.And loves power.Yes he does put other surgeons down.He is dangeroys.As we all know,These hospitals keep even bad surgeonsxon for the money.And if there bad.Intil multible bad things happen thats why the will let them go.But rest asure another localnhospital will pay them a ton of money to come on board.

I was referred to Dr. Montgomery through the Veterans Choice Program. He and his staff very helpful through the first surgery. We are now moving on to the 2nd and 3rd. These are due to complex issues. He has always been very approachable and down to earth and never talked down to me while explaining my issues or what the plan to repair them.

I have been with Dr. Montgomery for several years. He preformed fusion surgery on me several years ago with great results. My next surgery is scheduled October 16th and I feel very confident that Dr. Montgomery will correct this problem as well.

Waited for nearly two hours for him. Talked more about his family, putting down women and my prior surgeons than discussing my issue. Spoke to the PA about what would be the best surgery for me without including me in the conversation despite my questions. Left me with extreme concerns regarding the urgency for surgery to avoid becoming a quadrapalegic. No clear answers on what my current limitations should be to avoid serious permanent disability. Extremely arrogant on top of all of that- which I could dismiss if he actually entertained my questions and saw me as having an opinion about a serious surgery on my spine. He will never come near my spine.

He and Dr robert Nolan did a laminectomy on me in Aug 2007, it FAILED. Then in Jan 2014 they dId a spinal fusion at three levels, failed again plus they nicked my dura and failed to properly repair it. Plus while I was recovering in St Josephs Hospital , they overdosed me on pain killers and nearLY killed me. I was released and went back TWICE to the ER for dura leakage, then more surgery to correct their ERROR. Montgomery + Nolan = NO THANKS

Dr. Montgomery is the most Incredible, very respectful, smart and the ultimate surgeon ever! Dr. Montgomery staff is the best ever. I had the best care and support from each and every one!! I am totally on the road to a full recovery from this incredible surgeon! God Bless him and all his staff!

If you don't mind being diagnosed with "Borderline Narcissistic Disorder and Depression" by a Neuro who talked to you for 4 minutes despite the fact you've never had any psychiatric issues or diagnosis, then he's your man! I went to him seeking help for a prosthetic disc problem to be lied to and have a nasty psyche diagnosis NOW PART OF MY PERMANENT Medical record. Funny I didn't know neuro's having the extra training psychiatrist's have. By ready for him to tell you your insurance company won't pay your medical bills if you smoke. When I told my provider that they categorically denied rejecting claims because of smoking. As a matter of fact they stated that would be illegal under our laws. Do yourself a favor find a real doctor that practices the specialty they went to school for as opposed to this wannbe psychiatrist!
