Dr. Capozzi is knowledgeable, caring, compassionate and ethical. He will never push a patient into surgery. I came to him after seeing 2 other orthopedic surgeons, both of whom were quick to insist that I should have a particular procedure that only they were qualified to do (one wanted to do hip resurfacing, and the other wanted to do an anterior approach total hip replacement). Dr. Capozzi listened to me and my concerns, and after giving me his opinion on the various options available, he left the choice up to me. I waited a long time before making my decision, and I chose Dr. Capozzi with complete confidence to do my total hip replacement in 2011. I have never regretted that choice, even after my prosthesis was recalled by Stryker in 2012 - as a matter of fact, I went back to Dr. Capozzi for the revision surgery in 2013. All of his staff is also great, and I received excellent care at Winthrop Hospital. I highly recommend Dr. Capozzi!

While the office is a very busy one, it's disappointing that it feels like a factory. Dr. Capozzi is a very knowledgable surgeon, but he misdiagnosed my symptoms. I went to another surgeon who diagnosed me properly and treated my condition.

Totally easy to get an appointment, the office staff was polite, he was nice and convivial, and his hands were warm!! An easy, incident-free appointment. Thank goodness!
