Horrible doctor I would not recommend him to treat my cat

I had atrial fibrillation and bought my own EKG machine to monitor. I brought a strip with me to see Dr. Wang and he didn't believe I had an EKG machine, and kept asking who really did the reading, very unprofessional. His staff shuffles people through the blood pressure process with no resting period prior. The office felt like a third-world treatment center.

Went in for pain and stiffness in my shoulder. He said he would put in a preauthorization for an MRI with my insurance and that his office would contact me. After waiting a week, I called them, and they had not done anything. Said the office manager was out sick and they forgot. Very unprofessional, having someone forget to follow up on your medical issues, and it gets worse! After getting the authorization, and getting the MRI, I again waited for them to follow up after getting the results. Nothing. So I called, and they said they had got the MRI, and the doctor didn't see anything, and they were not going to bother to contact me to tell me this! They said it was their policy not to follow up! What about a physical therapist, what about recommendation to see a specialist, anything else? No, they got paid for peddling their tests, and could care less whether they'd actually resolved the issue. My shoulder is still causing me issues (I can't reach behind me or above my head without pain), but I will star over with another doctor before I give these fools another dime.

Dr Wang and his staff are very attentive to their patients, the doctor takes his time explaning and answering his patients concerns. He has been our family dr for many years ,I agree that his practice has grown but his attention to his patients is still outstanding ,plus the majority of the hospital staff have him as their personal doctor.....great doctor for hollister!!

Dr. Wang did not do a simple ultrasound to detect my gallstones. After three hospital stays I consulted a specialist who did an ultrasound and removed my stones. I suffered for three years from his negligence. Dr Wang has converted his private practice to a walk-in urgent care business seeing up to 60 patients in one day. It is no longer about quality but instead about quantity!

Given a bunch of symptom treatment which made me worse on every level. I only felt better after stopping medications! Given "elephant" doses which caused heart issues. $975 blood tests for a respiratory infection is pretty outrageous! The staff was sick and the doctor doesn't insure or treat them so the more germs the merrier!

I have always found Dr.Wang and his staff to be very understanding and willing to schedule an appointment I needed as soon as possible. Dr. Wang is very knowledgable and keeps up on all the current medical studies and treatments and seems to weigh the cost benefit ratio stressing what is really important. I appreciate that kind of intelligence as someone who is uninsured. He has provided me whith information about services available at low cost and even does some in his office that would be too costly elswhere. A true professsional! I know, after working in the medical field for 27 years, he takes the time needed and doesn’t waste time either. MH

Dr. Wang is one of the best Doctors that I have ever gone to. He listens to your concerns and then addresses each one of them. His staff is always friendly and very helpful. They always try to work you in to be seen the same day if possible.
