I've been a patient with Dr Sinthusek for 10+ yrs and had the absolute worst experience anyone could have when it comes to dealing with a Dr. I had a simple physical update scheduled October 15, 2015. I scheduled time off work to attend my apt, upon arrival everything was normal weight taken, blood pressure, etc. I was taken to a room and asked to strip down to my underwear and cover up with provided robe. Nurse comes in and ask me to lay on my back while she sticks all these round quarter sized stickers all over my body for a (I think she called it an EKG reading). After all the stickers are on my body, Dr Sinthusek walks in and immediately says (now granted, no speaking, how's your day, anything) "no, no I need for you to get up and put your clothes on" I chuckle because I'm thinking she's joking and she goes on "I'm retiring and made the decision earlier today so I'm not going to be able to see you anymore" my question "are you kidding or serious" she says "no serious put your clothes back on" I'm completely baffled and the nurse is looking at me startled as well. I then ask after seeing that she's serious "well can I just ask you a question" her response "no, no you can't because I'm no longer your Doctor and I cant give you information that I can't follow-up on" granted my question was very generic. The nurse proceeds to pluck the stickers off my body, taking hair off my body in the process which is uncomfortable and probably wouldn't have mattered as much had I not been humiliated. After putting my clothes on I walk out and ask the front desk clerk "so now what" and she says "you will receive a release form in the mail soon that will give us permission to release your files to whatever new Dr. you choose" not a I'm sorry this happened or anything. I even ask "Do you have any recommendations" response "no, you'll have to choose someone on your own".
I leave still upset feeling like I've been pranked and waiting for someone to call me back and point to a camera to say I was being pranked.

Since I've now taken time off work for no reason I start researching a new Dr and come up with a Dr that has high reviews and I ask Dr Sinthusek office if they can proceed with emailing me a release form because I'm ready to see a Dr soon for a check-up. I receive my forms, complete and fax back.

This past week (week of 11/2) I receive mail that confirms Dr Sinthusek retirement and that a new Dr will replace her and that I could continue to stay at that facility instead of moving to a new Dr/office altogether.

Fast forward to today 11/11, I'm excited that I can stay at the current location so I call to inquire about my file being sent back and staying. I speak to a lady and start to inform her that I would like to stay at the location and before I can finish she says (because I gave her my name upfront) "Mr Baker your files were moved to Dr xxxxxx on October XX and you're no longer a patient here" at this point I'm once again baffled and thinking to myself whats really going on and why am I being treated so rudely, and let me clear up that I'm perfectly healthy, perfect weight for my height, athletic build, etc . Once she gives me the matter of fact tone I respond with "wow maybe I did the right thing by transferring my files, what have I done to be treated this way? hello, hello" Yes she hung up on me and my tone was not even close to what I received from her because I was calling from work and not trying to be loud. I call back and ask to speak to office Manager (I think Kim was her name) after a 5min hold, I hang up and call back and after another 3min hold Kim comes to the phone. I kindly explained to her my entire ordeal from the schedules appt to the rude woman that hung up on me. I'm thinking she's going to apologize for my experience but she goes in "first off, prior to your visit on 10/15 you hadn't been to see us in 4yrs so you are no longer considered a tenured patient, you are what we call a new patient. Dr Sinthusek didn't want to see you because she only wanted to see her tenured patients and didn't want to waste time on new patients" my response "um OK but couldn't you guys have called me to let me know I did not need to take time off work and once that didn't happen could you not have let me know prior to taking me in a room and having me strip and stickers placed all over my body to only have them pulled off along with body hair less than 10mins later" her response in a very irritated tone "We don't owe you any explanation, she's retiring" my response "why are ya'll treating me this way, even if you considered me a new patient that's not how you treat customers and the way I'm being treated I'm now sure I made the right move" she blurts our "YOU HAVE A GREAT DAY SIR" and hangs up the phone...... I would strongly recommend if you're trying to decide if this is a Drs office you're thinking about visiting to think twice. I'm sure the office staff will remain the same.
