Potential Patients BEWARE.... I was given WRONG information about my insurance coverage by the Staff at this office then got a bill for $280 because of the error. The Staff refuses to take any blame or work with me to settle this. They threatened me with Collections Action if I didn't pay the entire bill and told me that Dr Byer wants the whole bill paid. I have filed complaints with the AG's Office informing them of what has taken place and how Dr Byers office conducts business. I do hope this is NOT a regular way that all of Ear, Nose & Throat Physicians and Surgeons treat all the Senior Citizens that go, in good faith, to them for treatment. This has been a great lesson for me.... going forward, I will be checking the reviews (AND the Doctors record with the State Medical Board) before making an appointment with ANY physician. If I had done this ahead of time, I probably would have opted for a different physician..

Wonderful warm bedside manner. His assistant John was just incredible in how he talked my 12 year old daughter through the procedure. Best doctor experience I have been a part of in over a decade: tremendous talent... quality people.

I saw Dr. Byer on July 9, 2014 for an issue with my ears. His assistant, Kathy, was warm, skilled, and reassuring. He was extremely kind, thorough, and professional. Most significantly, I felt one hundred percent better after my appointment and treatment. I had to wait a few minutes in the waiting room, but I knew Dr. Byer was helping a small child and certainly that was important. In addition, I got all the attention I needed from the doctor and his staff. I will return to the practice. The doctor and his staff inspire confidence.

First the staff messed up scheduling my appointment. I was scheduled in the wrong branch on a day Dr. Byer wasn't working. After rescheduling with Dr. Byer, he spent less time with me and did less to try to diagnose my problem than my referring PCP did. Dr. Byer then sent me for a hearing test and said he would review the results and call me to discuss how to proceed. He didn't call me for three and a half weeks after my hearing test and I had to call his office.

Dr. Byer is terrific - really a nice fellow and he has a great bedside manner. Cordial but not too. He asked good questions and listened to the answers. He let me talk. He cracked a couple jokes. He was not condescending. Great fellow - I'd go back to him in a heartbeat. Made me feel "heard."

Dr. Byer preformed nasal reconstruction on me about 13 years ago--I had sufferend a severe sports injury. His bedside manner was excellent and I was extremely happy with the results.

The allergy treatments (shots)worked for me. This way i can avoid long term use of meds. When all else failed he helped my son with his double ear infections. He inserted inner ear tubes and removed tonsils and adnoids at about age 2.5-3. Today he is 9yrs old and doing fine.
