Dr.Chafins’s nurses are rude and not helpful at all. After calling in with a flair and to explain that I had not received an appointment from another doctor that I was referred to I was lectured by the nurse asking well “what do you to want our office to do, and advised that it was not their office’s fault or responsibility as to why the other facility I had been referred had not scheduled me. I never said it was their was their fault. I explained that I had been very patient and waited for months for this referral appointment but was in the middle of a very painful flare that was causing severe swelling. I was transferred from one nurse to another and had to explain my problem to another nurse, asked to speak with a manager and hung up on while waiting. I finally got the manager and when I tried to tell her my issue with the tone and manner that the nurse had spoken to me she just talked over me and was asking questions about my condition, offered prednisone which could have been offered as a solution by the first nurse. I was treated like I was pain med seeking ,when I know that there is other therapy outside of pain medication and would have gladly accepted any relief . Only after saying to the manager that she still had not addressed the reason I requested a manager to address the nurses tone and treatment towards me did she apologize.
