His name is on a sleep study bill sent into Medicare. The report was 100% bogus. I took the machine home but didn’t use it. Never met him. He submitted a report that said I slept 6 hours and had a long list of symptoms. I bet he’s making millions off Medicare.

This was one of the worst medical experiences that I have ever had. Dr. Kubiak was arrogant, rude, and some of the things he said were unprofessional. I called the St. Francis Sleep Center because I was having issues with my CPAP machine. They insisted that I come in and meet with the first doctor available. Unfortunately, that was Dr. Kubiak. He walked in and didn't offer any sort of greeting. I extended my hand for a handshake, and he acted as if it pained him to shake my hand. Instead of speaking any about increasing the CPAP pressure, he focused entirely on my weight. I had just been diagnosed with sleep apnea about two weeks prior and had just received the machine days earlier. Here at the Sleep Center, Dr. Awan, whom I HIGHLY recommend, is my doctor but was out of the office that day. I am on a weight loss program. When I said to Dr. Kubiak that I was working hard to lose weight (in the two weeks since I had been there), he responded with, "Work harder." I have never felt more "fat-shamed" than I did with this doctor. If you have ANY say over which doctor you see, I would NEVER recommend Dr. Kubiak. Go with Dr. Awan. He is a sweetheart that will spend the time with you that you deserve when first starting on a CPAP.
