I have worked with psychiatrists and do not have a particularly high opinion of them. I was surprised to find Dr. Bucy to really listen to me! I found her to be compassionate and knowledgeable, honest, ethical and wiling to go out of her way to assist me with a very difficult situation I presented to her. I cannot praise her enough. Highly recommended unless you are looking for someone who just writes one script after another with no thought to what you really need.

Changed lithium dosage to toxic levels and instead of making sure I got the information, she sent a message via a third party. Then when I needed refills told me she didn't know me. When I insisted, she said I could "quit" lithium with no instructions.
