Dr. Rasmussen is very thorough, caring, polite and makes sure you as a patient is heard. The staff is outstanding. Thank you. I have not had to be seen during this pandemic, but I know he and staff would be helpful if needed.

I dont like the fact that this dr does not have any online or media for his office. Also at a time and 2021 in which everything is pd online and with cards and with COVID why he still not taking credit cards. Who carries cash or checks now a days. I keep getting bill I know I owe but I am not stopping by their office to pay cash cuz I. don't carry any and I haven't written a check in over 15 yrs. He is a great dr but cuz of this slow out of date office policy I will probably look elsewhere for my care. I really am not pleased that this dr is not update with the times which makes me wonder if he and his staff or update with all the online knowledge of new meds and diseases or viruses out there. I really hate that a dr chooses for himself and his staff to be out of touch with the times and that means that they are lacking knowledge somewhere. Too bad cuz i really liked his early open time cuz of work but that not enough for me to what to enter an office and go by checks or stop for a money order. You can not even pay online cuz he has none. Ugh so frustrating.

When I first started going to Dr. Rasmussen, I thought he was great. He took the time to talk with me and I felt like he actually listened. I then moved away for a little over a year and returned to the area in 2018, and went back to Dr. Rasmussen. This time, I had very poor experiences. First, he tried to "start" me on cholesterol meds - never mind the fact I've been on them for over 5 years already, and I had to actually point this out to him (although it has ALWAYS been listed in all my medical documents and information). Next, he tried to prescribe me a drug that I am allergic to - once again I had included this information in EVERY form I filled out and had told the nurses this when they did their preliminary questions. With these mistakes that in my eyes were HUGE mistakes, it made me start to question all of the care I was receiving. Right now, I am also still trying to reconcile a bill I keep getting sent for a visit over 4 months ago that I paid before leaving their office (since I knew it would be my last visit, I specifically asked what I owed from any previous visits and then added my co-pay for that current visit to the amount. The receptionist told me that number was correct and would bring me up to date. In the middle of moving out of state, I received another bill for that visit date, and because I was too busy to deal with calling them , I just sent another check. I have since received 2 more bills - ALL for the exact same visit, and each time I call to clarify, I'm told different things and that it is resolved. Why then do I keep getting a bill for that last visit?)

BEST doctor my family has ever used. He is young, but very thorough and knowledgeable about the latest treatment, especially technology. When he made a referral to a doctor who was an idiot, my wife talked to him about the other doctor and he said, "Well, I suppose you don't want to see him anymore, right?" And, he promptly made another referral, saying, "You know, you're the third patient who has complained about him. I'm not going to refer patients to him, anymore." We appreciated his honesty, as well as his very careful attention to our needs; he is NEVER in a hurry, very concerned and competent. Again, BEST doctor we've ever used.
