This is the worst experience with a doctor i have had .I had a kidney stone and strokes and i was in the hospital for them .And he was on duty and was making his rounds i was in so much pain and still had a kidney stent left in there and had a bad infection and he became irate and started mouthing me and told me to shut my mouth several times because i had asked him a question about my upcoming surgery. There was a hospital nurse in there with me and couldnt believe how he was treating me he was treating me like an animal and had no reason to behave that way he was unprofessional and beyond rude it was truly a nightmare experience i would stay away from him if i wanted to be treated like a human.

The most horrible experience I have EVER had with any doctor my entire life. He lacked empathy and understanding, and the actual kidney stone surgery/stent was unbearable to the point I have memory lapses due to the level of pain. He disregarded my excruciating pain, even when I was in the ER. He demeaned me during the stent removal by saying I was physically "sensitive", as well as talked over me as I cried, and ran off with the nurse, leaving me undressed, messy and crying. He talked fast, rushed, seemed very arrogant, and didn't really 'listen.' Then after the stent was removed, I urinated very high levels of dark blood for at least 3 or more days. Note that a later surgery with a stent from a different doctor/provider less than two weeks later was COMPLETELY different, with NO stent pain after surgery, as well as only pink urine for a day after its removal. The differences in the experiences were like night and day. Also, the REASON for the second surgery elsewhere is because Dr. Lenz left a large stone in my left kidney that he could have removed when he was doing surgery to remove the stone in my right ureter. I would warn ANYone against seeing Dr Lenz as they will not be treated well or listened to, will be in pain and disregarded, and may end up seriously injured if he continues being dismissive and arrogant with patients.

He spoke too loudly and I felt everyone in the office could hear him!
