I have always had good luck with Dr. Schlachter. He looks at all the information, and considers the patience overall health not just GI. He is very caring. His office visits are fast but he gets a lot done in the time, and is willing to answer any questions. If he has to run tests he gets them done right away and discusses everything with you.

Dr. Schlachter is very caring and has always allowed me the time to answer my questions. I think he is genuinely concerned for the patients he sees and I would refer him to friends and family.

I'm having problems and have tried to follow up after being referred to this doctor for an EGD and Colonoscopy. He's never available and I've seen office staff twice without help. Now Dr. Schlachter is going on vacation and they won't allow me to see another doctor in the practice, it's against their office policy. I'm being left to suffer for a month and a half. It's obvious there is no care in the healthcare here!

It was a 2 minute office visit for 230.00. It took forever it seems like to get a few answers after a colonoscopy,he was busy on the phone.

I was very dusappointed wuth the care I received from this DO -although I had an open mind about DO's his bedside manner and communication skills are less than what I expected from a specialist-plus I was uncomfortable during my colonoscopy- not a good overall experience -I blame my referring doctor for not being aware of the competency of the specialists he refers to.

I was underimpressed by his rapid New York style. Very condescending to me until he found out I had insurance. Dress was not professional ( blue jeans ) -move on if you get the hint
