Dr. Bob:
As we refer to him, is a wonderful neuro-psychiatrist. He takes time with patients, and their family members. I have been his patient, for quite a few years. Was refered to him by my neuro-psychologist , quite a years ago. As I had a need for anti-depressant, meds. I see him , every 90 days, or so. He has found a good, mixture of medications, to keep me ontrack! It has taken lots of, "trial and error", since I first started seeing him! It has been quite a long road, my professional(dr. patient, relationship) with him .

It is my view that this doctor appears to be suffering from a narcissistic personality disorder -He behaved in a controlling and petty manner when he was questioned and when we choose to things about using his (default) prescription meds - when our wonderful child’s issues deteriorated we called him in a panic and he refused to assist- saying he felt he was being “used”. We impressed upon him the potential serious implications of the condition and he said “I would not give you another prescription if you get on your hands and knees and beg”. It was one of the most appalling and inappropriate things I have ever heard said to the parent of an ill child - much less her treating physician. We are considering legal recourse so that other families may be spared. Luckily we have found a wonderful and caring physician and are so grateful. Main advice would be STAY AWAY from this person who appears unstable/

Doctor seemed to be very moody and fragile himself. Some appointments were excellent with very helpful information provided. Other times, however, he was very impatient and seemed bothered. Inconsistent which is not what the parent of a child with mental health issues needs!

Excellent doctor: very personable, compassionate, knowledgeable, and willing to go above and to help his patients in any way he can. Truly a wonderful person, and a skilled practitioner.
