The appointment was easy to schedule and there was no waiting time at the office. Dr Fanno was very thorough, spending at least 30 minutes tending to my needs. I am very happy with the experience and would refer family and friends without hesitation.

I saw Dr. Fanno in the office of one of his former instructors, Dr. Arthur Gudeon, in his Rego Park , Queens office. Dr. Gudeon was injured, and Dr. Fanno will be associating at his office. He followed up on the treatment of my very painful heel spur and gave me a cortisone shot that relieved my pain within 2 days, and is making me a pair of orthotics to prevent future problems. The waiting time was relatively short, and he and the staff were very courteous and helpful. The office is pleasant with new magazines and many pictures, which seem to indicate they take care of many sports conditions. Dr. Fanno told me that if the spur pain comes back, there is also a very simple way to fix it by a minor surgery to a ligament on the bottom of my foot. I would definitely trust either doctor for any foot or ankle treatment I would need, and I highly recommend them and their staff.

I must admit that the waiting time to see the doctor approached 40 minutes, although national average is 27 according to google, and i was getting impatient. I asked the front girl, politely " how much longer and she gave me the old "ten minutes", however the girl who left prior to the new one told me ten minutes, twenty five minutes ago. Anyway, when I met the doctor he was outspoken, and straight to the point of my issue, an ingrown nail. I didnt realize there were permanent removals of these suckers, but he iformed me that is a future option, for now though, the toe needed to become a lot less "angry", is the word he used. I was very anxious from the wait and my own work day, yet oddly, I was leaving the treatment room a whopping 1 hour from my original arrival. Not bad at all. so I highly recommend this doc/practice. I was better in "2.5" days as the doc said, and missed my follow-up, actually it looked fine so I ditched it, i think it guilted me into wrting this
