Dr. Phinney is a kind, concerned for his patients physician. I have been going to him for about 16 years now. He was there every step of the way through my Breast Cancer and never stops caring. He is not always on time but is worth the wait. I miss his old office manager as she always put me at rest with any questions or concerns I had. She and Dr. Phinney are like family. His new manager is very nice too and with a few more years I am sure she will get to know me as well as Shelly did. Dr. Phinney never lets you down and you can be assured you are in the best of hands!

the most awesome doctor i've ever dealt with. from my mothers breast cancer surgeries & continued follow up to my teenage daughters ingrown toe nail surgery he was amazing. he has a gentle, compassionate & caring attitude generally not found in surgeons who tend to lack all of the above! i recommend him 100% & no...im not related or employed by him...lol

I went to have a surgery done and consultation by DR Phinney, and his staff, and actually she (the entire staff is a receptionist and NOT a nurse was rude and a total blocker of any kind of help or getting to Dr Phinney for my concerns, questions and scheduling needs. She is the only staff there, Dr Phinney does not have a nurse on staff, which is a real drag, also he is alone, so very hard to reach. I was very dissatisfied with this office. I would recommend going elsewhere to get better service. i did not get telephone calls returned and he does not do any email or returing calls in voicemail, so it is next to impossible to reach dr phinney, I ended up getting my surgery done with another clinic. The staff also did not and was unwilling to give DR Phinney messages, so communication is not good!.

He removed my appendix after a late night trip to the E.R., a real pain being 48. I hate hospitals and he was on my side and discharged me the next day. He also has a sense of humor - how many times do you get that in a surgeon??

Dr. Phinney was assigned to me after I went into the E.R. for an appendectomy. His bedside manner was great and the surgery went very well. The operating room wanted to put me off until the evening but Dr. Phinney convinced them to have me in before noon!
