My mother recently had dentures put in at this practice. Her experience was so terrible that I called Dr Schumann myself. I went to every visit with her. After several attempts by two dentist to correcting her fitting, she was told she just has to live with the fact that food is left stuck in her mouth.
Each of the dentists made my mother feel like she was a burden rather than a customer, I customer that spent $1800 out of pocket , not to mention the payments insurance made.
The lack of caring and poor treatment was despicable as was Dr Schulmans response.
He told me my Mother, an 80 year old widow on social security , can pay an additional $600 out of pocket to get "another " denture.
She is not giving this business any more of her money. He should have offered to examine her and see what he could do rather than ask for more money.
The dentists at this practice are unprofessional and rude . She will never revisit this establishment again, they only wanted her money, not to help her one bit.

I don't know what these other people are talking about. I have been a patient in Dr. Schulman's office for close to 10 years. All of my experiences in his office have been wonderful. The business staff is friendly and very helpful. The assistants and hygienists are caring and meticulous. And Dr. Schulman is very patient and provides excellent, caring and painless dental treatment. I recommend him highly.

At the end of last year, after the regular cleaning, the hygienist said my gum problem became serious and I went to see a periodontist they refered. According to the periodontist, I need deep cleaning first and he can provide the earliest available time. Since I had twice deep cleaning in Dr. Schulman’s office before, I came back. They said I have to wait until my insurance company, Cigna, approve the pretreatment (but before they submitted to the insurance company after the treatment and no any problem). They submitted it in Febuary. One month later, I was informed they didn’t provide enough documents. I called them and they resend the document in March. In April, I was informed again without enough documents. At this time, my teeth already had bleeding and pain. Choosing another doctor might take longer time to solve the problem. I called Cigna and knew the total cost is $488 and high possibility to be approved. I called them and said I can pay by myself first and get the reimbursement once Cigna paid, the lady at the front desk gave me a price >$1000. After arguing for a while, Dr. Schulman came out and fix the price at $488 on the phone. I finally got an appointment at the end of April.

The whole procedure made me so tired and don’t want such an experience any more.

Today I had my worst dentist experience ever. I asked Dr. Schullman to put back a portion of the filling on a molar. He removed portion of the filling on a lower molar so I have a perfect bite on an imperfect crown I had sometime this Fall. At that time I insist and asked him to please leave my lower molar alone since that was not the problem; it was unnecessary and somehow painful. Today, just to add some filling I was given 2 shots of anesthesia, so strong that it numbed my face up to my right eye and ear. Now 3 hours later I have a bad pain in my jaw and it hurt even when I talk. Dr Schulman was rude and acussed me of trying to get a crown for free. I was dumbfounded; I never mentioned and I felt I did not need a crown. I have Insurance and I always pay my portion of the bill before I leave the Dr.'s office. This issue was not about money, but comfort; after all that is the only reason why we go to the Dentist.

From the minute I contacted Dr. Schulman's dental office I was treated well. The appointment was easy to make and the person on the phone was very friendly and informative. My first appointment was to have my teeth cleaned. The hygienist was very gentle. Dr. Schulman introduced himself at the end of the appointment and examined my teeth. I was told I needs some fillings. I made the appointment for the fillings and returned about 2 weeks later to have them done. I am extremely happy with the result and the treatment I received by Dr. Schulman and his staff. I recommend them highly.

This dentist refused to treat me when i had an abscess the size of a golf ball in my mouth..I did have insurance but it was state insurance which was explained at the time of placing appointment. This Dr was very knowledgeable and said the tooth had to be removed immediately however sent me on my way unless I could give him 450$ right then...Later on that day I found a dentist that would remove the tooth locally, and he was concerned with the insurance also but performed the extraction anyway. About a month later my new jobs insurance kicked in and he ended up fixing my whole mouth..I have a beautiful smile and couldn't be happier...It did cost me but we made arrangments which were all met...THIS DR is out for money and has obviously lost his way when it come to practicing medicine,,,,, DESPICABLE....Gross demeanor and no conscious. Choose ure Drs wisley

Wait is often long. Dentists have poor bedside manner and this office is not suitable for children.
