worst doctor ever, very arrogant and very uninformed.

I saw this doctor in the ER. Went to the ER for chest pains, arm pain, arm numbness and tingling.The triage immediately did EKG,and took a urine sample. Waited for 3.75 hrs before going to a room. My blood pressure upon arrival, 2 hrs after waiting, and again 3.25 hrs after waiting was running about 140/80. One in the room the nurse brought me what the call a GI cocktail. Numbs your mouth and esophagus. Which it did. Then ended up with a bad pain between my breasts. Dr. Blaivas came in and said that I had acid reflux and heart burn and probably ulcers, but he was going to do a chest x-ray to make sure, I said so this can cause arm pain and numbness, he says "YES". Nurse comes in to give me a protonix. Then they came back with discharge papers and says I need to see a gastro doc. They take one final blood pressure, it was 165/101, so the nurse says let me tell the doc before we send you home comes back in and says it is ok. I have never had a heart burn problem in my life.5.75hrs wasted

Complete idiot. Doesn't understand that an asthmatic can be in a full asthma attack, feel like they can't breathe, and still bring in enough oxygen. He will disregard your pain level completely, and push pain medication on you that you tell him you know won't work with an "It was good enough for me when I broke my arm, so it has to be good enough for you". He does not believe that kidney stones hurt (this really happened, when I got the bad luck of seeing him a second time) and denied me pain medication on that belief. This doctor is bad enough to where I completely avoid Northside Forsyth's ER, simply because I have a chance of getting him as a doctor.
