No more thoughts of suicide. After so many failures elsewhere, I went to see Dr. prager for ketamine treatment. My pain is most gone but a small amount remains. The most important thing is that I feel differently about my life after his pain rehab program. thanks to ratemds for helping me find him,

Pricey dude but he got me better again after 20 years of being better from the first time he treated me.

We have seen more than 10 pain doctors. As a physician myself he was the first one I trusted with my wife's health. He is kind caring and competent and a bit full of himself ( and has a sense of humor about it) but I still highly recommend him.

When I found out how much he charges for his first consultation I was reluctant to go see him. After the consult I understand why does that. He spent more than two hours with my husband and me explaining alternatives. I haven'my decision on what treatment I will pursue but am grateful it was all laid out for us to understand. I feel I got my money's worth and you get what you pay for.

Very thorough, explained things in detail. the best examination I ever had. Treatment alternatives were provided and I was glad I chose a treatment that was successful and my pain is 90% better and doesn't interfere with my life.

My Dr. at Stanford Recommended Dr. Prager to fix my stimulator after my Dr. in Carmel did a bad job both putting it in and then attempting to fix it. I went down to LA and he evaluated it and made some recommendations for revision. He asked a colleague to help him and they did a great job and it is working now. Worth the distance and expense. It was easy to see him because my Dr. Called. otherwise I think I would have more trouble getting in to see him

He is the wizard of crps. Knows more about it than the previous six pain doctors i have seen. My crps is in remission thanks to him.

Had seen several docs after my pump was implanted in Nevada and noone could make it work. I found a paper on the internet written about Best Practices and decided to see him. that was difficult because he wants a request from a physician before you can see him and I didn't want to ask my pain doc for the referral. My primary doc sent him a note and then he wanted me to leave a deposit for the appointment. finally a month later I saw him and it was worth the wait. He didn't take my insurance as payment in full but he made my pump work and I no longer take any other pain meds and my pain is never greater than 2/10. It was worth the trouble to get an expert to help me like no other docs could. Thank G_D for Dr. Prager

Quite cumbersome to get an appointment but once you meet him you understand why. He takes the time and knows what he is doing. He requires a referral and doesn't see everyone who seems one in.
