Excellent visit. Doctor took his time with us and explained things clearly and in detail. Dr. Mayer is an excellent choice for us.

I completed the paperwork ahead of time, check in was easy, the front desk staff was pleasant. Dr. Mayer is very good, personable and explains things.

Dr Mayer is incredible!! I came to see Dr Mayer in hopes he could assist me with a concern I had! Well to start off his medical background is above anyone's expectations having spent time at Cedars- Sinai, is an accomplishment in itself. Loving his medical background history, I came to the office for my appt, and front staff was very friendly, and to my surprise Dr Mayer called me back himself to his office, not a nurse Dr Mayer. That was very personable. Sat in Dr Mayer's office and explained my concern, and Dr Mayer did everything he could think of and also recommended an over the counter drug for me, and to my surprise it works well. Been to 6 other doctors and they never recommended what Dr Mayer recommend. Never did I think, that a Dr would take the time to listen to me. The appt was over and as I'm pulling out of the parking lot, Dr Mayer is calling me on my cell to tell me that he is was consulting with another physcian that I saw, to come up with a solution. I was so impressed with his personality. I have yet to call his office and thank him, been busy working, and I also have to post a Yelp review of Dr Mayer! Definitely my go to Gastroenterologist!!!

Dr. Mayer did my scope a few years ago, so when my recent issues arose, he was well-situated to diagnose and treat my condition. He worked me in as soon as possible, knew my history and current condition, and set a course of treatment that makes sense and has been effective so far. I would recommend Dr. Mayer without reservation.

Our appointment times were 8:30 am and 9:00 am we were not seen until 9:10. However, Dr. Mayer was very apologetic as he was in an unexpected procedure. He gave us ample time and went over everything thoroughly. We didn't feel rushed because he was late. Dr. Mayer was very professional.
