Avoid this doctor, or if you are seeing him get a second opinion! He is rude, condescending, and tries to push unnecessary surgery.

In an environment that encourages patients to be active participants in their own healthcare, Dr. Shindel and his partner Dr. Girdhar clearly had no interest in my input. I felt forced to have unnecessary surgery. It felt like high pressure sales with the motivation being money. Please, what ever you do get a second opinion. I was adamant enough to get a second opinion and avoided surgery altogether.
